Quote from Calmlichen on December 15, 2024, 2:55 amman its awful. i just gave him tylenol and laid him on the couch with extra blankets. then i set five alarms on my phone to check his temp while hes sleeping. if hes burning up by 4am i call out and just dont go in. better than trying to work with a sick kid at home. hope he breaks the fever soon.

Quote from Linda2003 on December 20, 2024, 4:44 amnah its actually pretty normal but yeah it can be awkward if ur rushing lol i just tell him to chill and let me take the lead. if hes too sensitive i make him wait or switch it up. dont let him rush u tho. communication is key like u gotta tell him to back off if its uncomfortable. dont feel bad about it tho.

Quote from Glenmere on February 4, 2024, 6:25 pmHonestly sounds like you are just burnt out. Lol, My aura isn’t broken either, just tired. I wake up early for fajr pray then rush kids to school. After work I cook for everyone because mom always says food is love. Now I sit on couch staring at phone. If I don’t sleep 8 hours my face gets pale and I snap at husband. Just rest already.

Quote from Bronzebeat on April 6, 2024, 10:23 pmyeah totally. you never really relax when you know your lease is up in six months. i got tired of the drama so i stayed put for three years. finally got into a routine and a bf showed up. moving every other year just feels like you are on probation somewhere. hard to invite anyone over when you are half packed

Quote from Plantmama1994 on April 22, 2024, 11:08 amOh honey it is real. I got diagnosed at 52 and my husband thought I was just getting old. Lord knows I ain't. I take my meds, stretch in the morning, and rest when my body screams. It’s a drag but you’re not crazy. Keep going sister.

Quote from hollowdrum on March 27, 2024, 12:37 pmomg same. i’ve been sitting at my desk all day and my feet look like puffy marshmallows. i keep taking off my shoes under the table at work. honestly i think its just the chicago heat or maybe i’m dehydrated. i started drinking like 4 gallons of water a day k ik its a lot but it helped a little. just chilling with em off tonight.

Quote from Lily1980 on August 25, 2024, 2:51 amnope not worth the extreme soreness but totally worth the strength gains. i lift four times a week mostly compound movements. yes it hurts for a day or two after back day but you get so strong so fast. the mirror dont lie when you see those shoulders pop out. just push through the initial discomfort. its temporary but the results stay. keep lifting sisters.

Quote from free1996 on April 10, 2024, 12:38 pmomg same. just sit cross legged on a folded blanket instead of floor. keeps hips higher so less pressure on tailbone. i use old yoga mats cut up as extra cushions too. dont force posture if pain is there. just breathe and let body find comfort wherever that is today. sometimes less is more tbh.

Quote from Cliffpledge on May 30, 2024, 11:15 pmyeah it sucks. i basically stand up for the last 10 mins of every zoom to reset. also bought a cheap footrest for my desk setup. helps a lot when you have to sit through 3 hrs of synergy meetings. if its really bad maybe see a doc but mostly its just bad posture combined with sitting too long. my knees click like old floorboards honestly

Quote from Goldensunset2002 on October 8, 2024, 5:43 pmSame here honestly. After 2 kids, my energy is basically zero after work. I dont even think about it most days. We just sleep next to each other and thats it. Sometimes we try but im too tired so i say no. It has been like this for years now. I guess it is normal for us moms. My husband understands mostly but sometimes gets quiet about it.
