Quote from Jennifer1988 on July 27, 2024, 10:22 ami spent two hours at the elementary school today and honestly i just want to crawl into bed. For real, the teachers were nice but they asked so many questions about his reading level. i feel like im failing already. drank three glasses of wine as soon as i got home. now watching tv and ignoring my work emails. same for you basically i think.

Quote from softtempo on May 24, 2024, 8:28 pmI just watch him play those stupid games while I check my phone. Love means I tolerate his nonsense now lol. Its boring but whatever. Im an immigrant so I have better things to do than scream at him. Maybe he thinks it helps him focus? Idk. I just ignore it and make my coffee. If he really loved me he would turn it off but men are men.

Quote from Dorothy1989 on May 11, 2024, 11:04 pmhonestly i just ice them for 20 mins right after and take ibuprofen. we move every 3 years so i dont have a regular PT and literally cant afford to take days off work. just stretch hard before bed and try not to jump around so much tomorrow. knees are wrecked from all the boxes we drag into these tiny apartment moves anyway. lol.

Quote from Mossshadow on February 27, 2025, 11:17 amSame. I just walk fast around my neighborhood after clase. No gym, no counting macros, no expensive supplements. Just me and my thoughts. Sometimes I lift heavy boxes at work and thats enough resistance for me. I drink water and try to sleep 7 hours. If I feel like moving, I dance to bad bops in my room. Its not pretty but it keeps me sane. Why overcomplicate it when simply staying alive already takes so much effort?

Quote from featherwaterway on February 27, 2025, 11:17 amHonestly same. I push myself too hard thinking I need to mirror the girls on insta. Then Im dead. Now I just do 20 mins steady cardio. No heavy lifting. Wash up, drink big glass of water with dates. Then I nap for 30 mins. Wake up like a new person. Stop trying to be perfect. Just show up. Your body will thank u.

Quote from sparkbronze on November 24, 2025, 11:22 amOMG girl same. Mi ankles are huge lately. I think is just the heat or how much I stand all day. Yo mama told me to keep elevating mi pies when resting. Also check if your shoes give u proper support. No es normal pero tampoco es el fin del mundo. Drink more water too because dehydration makes swelling worse. Hope u feel better soon amiga.

Quote from Hollowharp on November 24, 2025, 11:22 ami started walking in flip flops one summer and low back pain hit. switched to actual walking shoes with arch support and it stopped. also my old yorkie pulls like crazy so i got a harness instead of a collar. changed my walking spot to the flat park path instead of the hilly neighborhood streets. sometimes its just the shoes or the terrain being too uneven. hope that helps.
