Quote from Sunbeamotter on June 2, 2025, 7:55 pmSame thing happens here. We just gave her a specific corner with a small table and told her that’s the only spot. She put up a little shrine and now it’s her sacred space. I actually don’t mind it that much as long as the incense smell doesn’t drift into the kitchen while I’m cooking dinner. Just set boundaries early.

Quote from ivysaga on January 6, 2026, 11:33 amim a teacher too so i totally get this. its not just you. i keep a big water bottle on my desk and force myself to drink from it all day. dehydration hits hard in the afternoon. i also try to eat a small snack with protein around 2pm like a handful of almonds or string cheese. it helps keep my energy from crashing so hard at the end of the day.

Quote from bloomfestival on August 6, 2026, 1:32 amyeah totally. Tbh, i stop at 15 mins bc i feel like death after that. used to run easy then figured out my heart is just different now post, divorce and stress. don't push it too hard. if you’re exhausted that fast maybe your form is off or you’re going too fast for your current level. i just walk fast now and it’s enough.

Quote from Silverwaterway on December 21, 2025, 6:15 amMy husband used to think that was plenty till I started scheduling other things. Now we do it twice a week or he gets left out. Not trying to be mean but if you dont prioritize it he will assume its low priority to you too. Communication is key, even if it feels awkward at first. Just set the expectation early.

Quote from soccermom1982 on July 31, 2026, 6:28 pmhonestly it makes me so mad because i did all the planning last year and he just got a gift card. i don’t care about the date itself but the lack of effort stings. i usually just make a big mess in the kitchen to remind him. it’s stupid but i need that acknowledgment. also semicolons are fun

Quote from Calmwaters1965 on August 23, 2026, 4:25 amnah that sounds like he’s just trying to get away with being rude. i just tell my partner straight up that his tone is disrespectful and i won’t tolerate it. if he gets defensive then i know he’s not listening. i walk away until he can speak to me with basic respect. you’re not too sensitive for wanting to be treated right.

Quote from Ferntale on March 26, 2026, 4:58 amSame. I just walk fast around my neighborhood after clase. No gym, no counting macros, no expensive supplements. Just me and my thoughts. Sometimes I lift heavy boxes at work and thats enough resistance for me. I drink water and try to sleep 7 hours. If I feel like moving, I dance to bad bops in my room. Its not pretty but it keeps me sane. Why overcomplicate it when simply staying alive already takes so much effort?

Quote from sugarplum2000 on January 19, 2025, 8:45 amomg seriously?? five minutes is barely enough time to settle in. my bf does this too and lowkey it’s kinda stressful. i just tell him i’m not ready yet and need to actually relax first. feels like a race sometimes. if he keeps pushing i’d honestly be confused bc like come on. give us a second to breathe ykno

Quote from CityGirl on November 20, 2025, 2:13 pmi tell him if he wants it done his way he do it himself. we sit down and split chores right down the middle. no thank yous just duty. if i cook he cleans. if i fold he loads laundry. stop treating him like a guest. he lives here too. my tribal ways teach balance so i enforce it. if he complains i let him complain while i relax. his loss.
