Quote from glowexpedition on February 20, 2024, 9:18 pmI just watch him play those stupid games while I check my phone. Love means I tolerate his nonsense now lol. Its boring but whatever. Im an immigrant so I have better things to do than scream at him. Maybe he thinks it helps him focus? Idk. I just ignore it and make my coffee. If he really loved me he would turn it off but men are men.

Quote from Dawnmoss on January 30, 2024, 8:54 amYeah it ain’t just you. My knees sound like crunchy cereal every morning. I started wearing compression sleeves and cutting back on high impact stuff. Yoga helps too but omg the stairs are painful. Just keep moving so they don’t lock up completely. Drink plenty of water and stretch. We’ll be spry forever or at least pretend to be.

Quote from Jean1988 on July 12, 2024, 5:54 pmMan that is rough. Honestly we do a chore chart every Sunday night. Pretty much treats it like work shifts. He got the evening shift until 8 then I take over. It ain't always perfect but it helps split the mental load. If he ghosts his shift we talk about it the next day no yelling just facts. You gotta set boundaries early or it never changes.

Quote from Calm1988 on October 15, 2024, 9:08 pmI just keep a jump rope in my suitcase always. Once we land and unpack slightly, I do 10 mins a day in the living room. No gym membership drama. If we move again before three months, at least I stayed active. My back hates it but better than getting stiff on the plane or couch. Simple routine beats fancy equipment any day.

Quote from joyce1983 on October 25, 2024, 7:27 pmi just stopped answering his texts about needing space. honestly it feels exhausting to keep picking up the pieces every time he checks out. im focusing on my lesson planning and hanging out with my girls instead. if he wants space he can have it but im not holding my breath. it isnt my job to manage his emotions or wait around.

Quote from mountainmom1980 on November 4, 2024, 7:54 pmI stopped sleeping next to someone who did that years ago. The noise kept me up all night and frankly the hygiene was gross. I am not interested in debating why he does it or trying to fix it with mouth tape. I need rest so I pack my pillow and take a nap elsewhere. If he cant snore quietly then he sleeps in the guest room. Simple as that.

Quote from Rebecca1976 on September 18, 2024, 8:05 amyeah mostly. Lol, i canceled mine after two months. the 10 minute guided sessions are fine but paying $15/mo for the same info you get on youtube for free is rough. now i just stare at a wall or listen to rain sounds. saves money, same stress relief. if you really need structure, buy a book once. cheaper in the long run.
