Quote from Gatewell on July 14, 2026, 4:26 amit is 11 pm and the house is dead quiet. my husband fell asleep on the couch at 930 pm with the tv still on. i just did laundry for the fourth time this week because the kids spill juice everywhere. i went to target today for a $2 cereal box and spent $80 on stuff i do not need. now i am sitting here drinking rooibos tea but i cannot relax. the air feels heavy. why does my home feel so cold and empty when my whole family is literally in the other room? i tried lighting a candle from ulta but it did not help. i just feel so drained. is this normal or am i just crazy?

Quote from thymecoupon on September 13, 2025, 10:09 pmSame. After the kids hit toddlerhood it vanished. Husband thinks we just forget. I start chores so he sleeps. Honestly cant be bothered explaining again. We touch but thats it. My auntie says wait til they leave home. I just nod. Feel like roommates who share dna. Maybe thats normal now. Just tired.

Quote from patty1986 on September 13, 2025, 10:09 pmyeah my tribe does smudging before class now. i just do 15 mins of sun salutations in my living room while listening to rain sounds. saves the drive and the frustration. honestly its just easier to move on your own time without dealing with cancellation emails. hope you find a rhythm that works for u too.

Quote from Lori1983 on January 7, 2025, 12:56 pmhonestly same here. For real, i’m twenty eight and honestly just so done with the performance aspect of it all. some nights i’d rather just cuddle or sleep. it’s not that i don’t love my partner but the pressure to be excited is exhausting. i feel like i’m constantly thinking about what’s next instead of just being in the moment. is everyone else this checked out or am i just crazy

Quote from Archseed on February 9, 2025, 2:59 amlol honestly same. pilates is too boring sans hype. i went to a black woman owned studio downtown and its always full of energy. the instructor is loud af and calls you out if you cheating. makes it way more fun. also got a new friend who drives past so we carpool. sometimes u just need the drama and noise to get through a roll up.

Quote from Lucky1971 on November 10, 2025, 11:08 amsick days are a myth for most of us; im pushing through the body aches right now because rent doesnt pause. just chugging electrolytes and taking ibuprofen every six hours like clockwork; if i feel feverish at work i step out to the parking lot to cool down. its not ideal but it keeps the check coming in; survive one day at a time.

Quote from Wild2000 on June 11, 2025, 4:35 amHoney I feel you. Honestly, I just park way back in the lot and walk in slow. Nobody looks at nobody anyway. I wear my old sweat clothes so I dont care what happens. Its just noise and machines. You gotta get used to being uncomfortable at first. Just go do one thing then leave if you need to. Keep it simple.

Quote from FreeWind on August 1, 2025, 7:56 amman its awful. i just gave him tylenol and laid him on the couch with extra blankets. then i set five alarms on my phone to check his temp while hes sleeping. if hes burning up by 4am i call out and just dont go in. better than trying to work with a sick kid at home. hope he breaks the fever soon.

Quote from free1974 on October 15, 2025, 5:31 amhonestly i just chuckle and say no thanks. i need a solid block of quiet to actually decompress. five minutes feels like a blink. sometimes he wants to talk though so i just say lets talk over dinner later. i force a little boundary without making it huge. my brain still feels foggy from grading so i really need that space. just be upfront about needing downtime.
