just so tired lately
Quote from Starshore on August 28, 2019, 6:10 amhey ladies. im in my late 20s, live here in chicago, and lately feel like im just dragging. i got home from work at like 6pm yesterday, had to rush to Jewel to get milk and some bread, cost me almost 15 bucks. then my nephew wanted a specific disney movie played, took forever to find it. by the time i sat down, it was almost 9pm. i just feel so worn out all the time, cant even remember the last time i slept through the night. is this just normal for my age or am i missing something?

Quote from Moorcopper on September 1, 2019, 12:37 amUgh, yes! The grocery store rush is the worst. I swear, the checkout lines are always the longest when you just need one or two things. My legs were aching last night.

Quote from petalshadow on September 3, 2019, 10:17 pm@Starshore Totally. Getting home and then realizing you still have to do things is rough. I forgot to grab eggs yesterday and almost cried thinking about going back out.

Quote from Wise1997 on September 5, 2019, 6:57 pmI feel this so hard. Just the thought of making dinner after a long day makes me want to crawl into bed. I ended up just ordering pizza.

Quote from Joan205 on September 5, 2019, 10:53 pm@Starshore Oh honey, I get that exhaustion. That Jewel trip sounds like a whole production. I always grab a good sourdough when I'm there, makes it feel a little more worth it.

Quote from Linenfjord on September 8, 2019, 5:59 am@Starshore Seriously, the grocery store is my arch-nemesis after 5 PM. I swear I saw you in line for the bread yesterday! I just grabbed some frozen chicken nuggets, zero effort.

Quote from Twinklelookout on September 10, 2019, 11:40 am@Starshore Tell me about it. Forgetting eggs is a tragedy. I almost made a midnight run for them last week, then remembered I had powdered in the pantry. So gross but it worked.

Quote from bronzerampart on September 13, 2019, 12:06 am@Starshore Pizza is a totally valid choice. My kids would revolt if I tried to make something fancy after they’ve had a long day at school and I’ve had one at the office.
