Quote from Brightvalley1991 on February 26, 2019, 4:42 pmi went to Planet Fitness on elston around 6pm. it was my first time going there alone. the air conditioning was blasting and it smelled like stale sweat and floor cleaner. i just wanted to walk on the treadmill for twenty minutes. my heart started pounding so hard i could hear it in my ears. i felt like i was gonna pass out. i couldn't catch my breath. i walked out and sat on the curb near the bus stop while i hyperventilated. i felt so stupid. i just wanted to get fit before my sister's wedding next month. i saw a guy staring at me and i thought he knew something was wrong. i feel so embarrassed and tired. does this happen to anyone else or am i just weak

Quote from budbeat on January 16, 2019, 10:38 amSame. I feel like I’m running on fumes mostly. I’ve started drinking way more water and forcing myself to put my phone away an hour before bed. It helps a bit but honestly I think it’s just burnout from work and life in general. I’m not even that old yet but I definitely feel it in my bones lol.

Quote from scaletower on June 21, 2020, 4:43 amnah that sounds like he’s just trying to get away with being rude. Tbh, i just tell my partner straight up that his tone is disrespectful and i won’t tolerate it. if he gets defensive then i know he’s not listening. i walk away until he can speak to me with basic respect. you’re not too sensitive for wanting to be treated right.

Quote from TrueStar on April 7, 2020, 6:56 pmHonestly not weird at all. We moved three times in two years so our bedroom setups have been half packed in boxes for months. Husband thinks I’m rejecting him, but I’m just exhausted. Most intimacy now is him falling asleep on the couch while I fold laundry. If I’m lucky we try for 10 minutes but usually it’s a nope from me. Just survive, don’t expect much until the kids actually leave the house.

Quote from sunlitrain1977 on May 29, 2020, 6:11 pmi feel u. honestly just skip the complicated stuff. i wash face with cetaphil, slap on the ordinary niacinamide serum, put on cerave pm night cream, and throw on sunscreen in the morning. that s it. no fancy tools, no ten step korean routine. sometimes less is literally more. stop stressing and just keep it simple. your skin will thank you for not picking at it.

Quote from kindaccomplishment on March 8, 2021, 1:16 pmHusband thinks I’m crazy for needing quiet too. For real, I leave the house every Saturday morning. Go to the library or just sit in my car. He complains but I don’t care. If I don’t get that hour to myself I snap. My peace isn’t negotiable. You do you. Don’t let him guilt trip you into losing your mind.

Quote from Sweetdawn1969 on September 24, 2021, 2:30 amFibro is real dont let anyone tell u otherwise. I got diagnosed three years ago. Woke up one morning and couldnt get out of bed. Docs acted like it was all in my head at first too. Now i just manage the flares. Take ur meds, rest when u need to, and stop blaming urself. Age has nothing to do with it. Its a nerve thing. Stay strong sister.

Quote from Elizabeth1988 on August 20, 2021, 11:54 amit is 11 pm and the house is dead quiet. my husband fell asleep on the couch at 930 pm with the tv still on. i just did laundry for the fourth time this week because the kids spill juice everywhere. i went to target today for a $2 cereal box and spent $80 on stuff i do not need. now i am sitting here drinking rooibos tea but i cannot relax. the air feels heavy. why does my home feel so cold and empty when my whole family is literally in the other room? i tried lighting a candle from ulta but it did not help. i just feel so drained. is this normal or am i just crazy?
