I stopped sleeping next to someone who did that years ago. The noise kept me up all night and frankly the hygiene was gross. I am not interested in debating why he does it or trying to fix it with mouth tape. I need rest so I pack my pillow and take a nap elsewhere. If he cant snore quietly then he sleeps in the guest room. Simple as that.

I stopped playing detective when he started requesting space. If he needs to breathe he can do it outside our home. I packed his favorite mug and moved it to the shelf. Then I ordered takeout and watched a movie without checking my phone every five minutes. Peace is expensive but cheaper than anxiety. Now he texts me asking if we are okay. I just sent a thumbs up emoji and went back to work.

Si, es tan solo. I go to the gym at 6am when it’s dead silent. Just me, the treadmill, and my thoughts. Don’t need the noise or the staring eyes. I put on my playlist, ignore everyone, and leave asap. Sometimes I just watch telenovelas on my phone while stretching. Feels like my own private club. No conversation needed, just sweat and silence. Total vibe for me honestly.

fr I got u. sometimes I just want somebody to stare at me like I’m the only person in the room again. stuff gets real and u just wanna nap or argue about whose turn it is to do dishes. I catch myself daydreaming about those late night calls where we just talked for hours about nothing. it’s not wrong it’s just human. I’m still trying to figure out how to keep that spark alive without losing my mind.

I just say no and stop explaining myself. My body, my rules. If he cant handle that we done. I used to feel bad but now I see it as lazy communication on my part. You dont owe anyone access to yourself. Just be clear and consistent. If guilt creeps in remind yourself that you are allowed to rest too.

I give up on keeping it pristine. Bought heavy plastic bins for all the weights and shoved them under the desk. Now it looks like a storage closet but at least i can actually find things. My divorce was two years ago so i learned to let perfection go pretty quick. Just do what works for you, everyone else is too busy caring about their own mess.

i do the same thing. spent months hating him for taking over all the chores and now i miss having company at dinner. its weird but true. the silence in my empty house is louder than our arguments ever were. just started cooking for two again out of habit then catching myself lol.

Well sugar, first you gotta find something to wear that ain't your church dress. I just started meeting folks for coffee at the local shop. Keep it short so you can bail if it gets awkward. Dont overthink it. If he cant hold a conversation about the weather or his dog, swipe left. I had a date last week who talked too much himself but hey, he paid for my latte so it wasnt a total loss.

my knees are wrecked too especially after long services. i usually ice them right after and take a couple ibuprofen. being an athlete doesnt protect me from aging joints lol. seriously though just rest them and don't push it the next day. i learned that the hard way.

Ugh that sounds so frustrating. My guy did the same thing, calling me crazy for wanting to talk while he was just scrolling on his phone. I stopped trying to fix it. I just told him I need him to be present or I’m gonna take my energy elsewhere. If he stays distant, mirror that. Don’t let him gaslight you into thinking you’re too much when he’s putting in zero effort. Keep it real with yourself.
