I just finished my weekly 5k run at 6 am before picking up the kids. I feel absolutely wrecked. My heart is hammering against my ribs and my legs won't stop shaking. I sat on the front steps for twenty minutes just trying to catch my breath. My husband asked if I was okay and I couldn't even answer him properly. I looked at the grocery list on my phone and forgot what I needed. We need milk and eggs. The box of cereal costs four dollars now. I feel like I am going to pass out or die right here in the driveway. This never used to happen when I was in college. I used to run ten miles without thinking. Now I can barely walk to the car. Is this just aging or am I actually sick?

Girl no that ain't normal. My knees click like crazy after sitting in that pew for two hours on Sunday but it settles down quick. If it hurts this bad after just a few hours something is wrong. I iced mine last night and took a baby aspirin. Hope you feel better soon darlin. Take care of yourself honey.

stress drains the spirit first then the body feels it. i get that emptiness often. lately i just sit outside for 10 mins every morning no phone just watching birds or leaves move. helps reset my nervous system. also drinking more water and walking without headphones. sometimes we overthink when we just need to move or breathe. try stepping away from screens for an hour.

Well sugar, first you gotta find something to wear that ain't your church dress. I swear, I just started meeting folks for coffee at the local shop. Keep it short so you can bail if it gets awkward. Dont overthink it. If he cant hold a conversation about the weather or his dog, swipe left. I had a date last week who talked too much himself but hey, he paid for my latte so it wasnt a total loss.

hey girl. my aunt had a scare too. i just sat with her and held her hand while she cried. we didnt talk. just let the tears come. its okay to fall apart. take your time. im holding space for you. hope u feel a lil lighter soon. sending big hugs to u and your fam. stay strong but also be gentle with yourself.

Oye girl same here omg. After those 3 hours meetings my knees feel like jelly seriously. I swear its the chair or just sitting too long. I literally stand up every 20 mins to stretch if I can. If not I just ice them later at home. Painkillers dont even help sometimes. Its super annoying but yeah normal for us. Take care of your self!

yeah totally. i stop at 15 mins bc i feel like death after that. used to run easy then figured out my heart is just different now post, divorce and stress. don't push it too hard. if you’re exhausted that fast maybe your form is off or you’re going too fast for your current level. i just walk fast now and it’s enough.

Honestly sounds like you are just burnt out. My aura isn’t broken either, just tired. I wake up early for fajr pray then rush kids to school. After work I cook for everyone because mom always says food is love. Now I sit on couch staring at phone. If I don’t sleep 8 hours my face gets pale and I snap at husband. Just rest already.

honestly man stress just fries u. i feel empty too lately. my chest gets tight and i cant breathe right. im just trying to survive the day tbh. im drinking too much coffee and not sleeping enough. it sucks but its real. im just gonna keep moving and hope it gets better soon. cant fix everything but trying to take it one day at a time. u do u best sis.

my husband is the same way. we just sit watch tv and hold hands. he says its enough to feel close. i tried talking more but he gets shut down. so now i just lean into it. sometimes silence is better than fake words. dont force convo if hes not there. just sit with him. it works for us even if it feels weird at first. trust the quiet.
