is it normal to fall asleep during sex at our age ??
Quote from gatecloud on October 6, 2025, 11:34 pmyeah it sucks. half the guys my age act like theyre twelve. im tired of explaining why i dont wanna get drunk every thursday night. plus as a mixed girl i just want someone who gets my family dynamics without me having to translate everything. dating apps feel like work now. im just sitting home eating pizza most nights tbh. takes less energy and hurts less.

Quote from KindLight on January 3, 2026, 4:26 amhonestly same. ive stopped trying to meditate every morning and guilt myself for missing days. now i just do what feels doable. sometimes its five minutes of breathing, other times its napping. im done performing spirituality. i teach second grade so i deal with chaos all day, im not adding mental load. just be kind to yourself.

Quote from Sweet2005 on November 24, 2025, 11:22 amHoney I just keep pushin on. I stop drinkin coffee after noon cause it wrecks my sleep. Then I just rest my feet up and listen to the Word while I knit. Ain t nothing you can do about it but breathe through it. My grandma said this is just the price of admission for survivin this long. So I just take it day by day y all.

Quote from Sporewall on July 29, 2026, 4:23 pmHoney that is just hard. I told my man if he keeps doing that I am sitting down. I dont cook clean and raise kids alone. We made a schedule last Sunday after service. He does dishes and laundry I do dinner. If he complains I tell him to talk to my sister. Yall gotta make him pull his weight.

Quote from Plantmama2003 on March 26, 2026, 7:34 ami use heating pads and witch hazel compresses when the pain gets bad. Omg, also trying to walk barefoot on grass helps ground me and loosen up my joints. my grandma taught me to rub warm olive oil mixed with clove oil into the knees before bed. it’s not a cure but it takes the edge off without numbing me out. keep moving gentle don’t let it sit still too long.

Quote from Megan1978 on May 8, 2025, 11:26 pmHonestly sounds like you are just burnt out. My aura isn’t broken either, just tired. I wake up early for fajr pray then rush kids to school. After work I cook for everyone because mom always says food is love. Now I sit on couch staring at phone. If I don’t sleep 8 hours my face gets pale and I snap at husband. Just rest already.

Quote from dani1965 on May 14, 2026, 3:23 amhonestly same here. my body just feels wrecked and cranky. i usually end up just laying on the couch for an hour after my long runs. then i take a hot shower and drink water. it takes a day or two to actually feel good again. dont you dare start doing yoga or meditation bc that sounds exhausting right now. just rest.

Quote from windexpedition on May 26, 2025, 5:57 amI just say no and stop explaining myself. For real, My body, my rules. If he cant handle that we done. I used to feel bad but now I see it as lazy communication on my part. You dont owe anyone access to yourself. Just be clear and consistent. If guilt creeps in remind yourself that you are allowed to rest too.
