Quote from jacqueline1994 on September 8, 2021, 3:42 ami spent two hours at the elementary school today and honestly i just want to crawl into bed. the teachers were nice but they asked so many questions about his reading level. i feel like im failing already. drank three glasses of wine as soon as i got home. now watching tv and ignoring my work emails. same for you basically i think.

I am tired after work. We keep it simple abhi. No drama, no extra stress. Just normal life. He agreed finally because I was firm. Don’t compromise your peace for his whim.

Quote from boldleaf1978 on November 19, 2021, 1:04 amhonestly same here. For real, my body just feels wrecked and cranky. i usually end up just laying on the couch for an hour after my long runs. then i take a hot shower and drink water. it takes a day or two to actually feel good again. dont you dare start doing yoga or meditation bc that sounds exhausting right now. just rest.

Quote from Glenanalogy on May 28, 2022, 2:32 amMy skin was so bad too. I stopped using harsh scrubs. Now just simple routine. Cleanser, toner, moisturizer. In summer I use oil control in morning. At night I apply night cream. Consistency is key. Don’t buy expensive products. Simple things work best. Relax and give it time. My skin cleared up after 3 months. Patience is needed.

Quote from True1971 on August 1, 2022, 4:02 pmYeah its totally normal especially if u just started or increased intensity. I get the same knee pain after leg day. Usually means weak muscles or bad form. I do straight leg raises and glute bridges daily to strengthen it. Also stop doing squats if it hurts. Stretch after workout. Drink water. Ice if swollen. See doctor if pain persists. Dont push through sharp pain. Rest is key.

Quote from Gatebone on June 27, 2022, 1:20 pmomg girl same. I literally throw his clothes in the wash the second he takes them off. If they stay in the hamper for more than a few hours, forget it. The smell is unreal. I even wash his workout gear separately with extra detergent because regular stuff doesnt cut it. My bf thinks Im crazy but hey, nobody wants to date a human stench bag. Just keep that washer running, mija.

Quote from Woodpresentation on December 19, 2022, 1:21 pmomg same. just sit cross legged on a folded blanket instead of floor. keeps hips higher so less pressure on tailbone. i use old yoga mats cut up as extra cushions too. dont force posture if pain is there. just breathe and let body find comfort wherever that is today. sometimes less is more tbh.

Quote from GoldenSong on July 13, 2022, 3:35 ami feel that. moving every few years makes it hard to stick with a routine or find good spots. ive been lifting heavy and just focusing on strength instead of the scale number. the scale goes up bc muscle weighs more but i look leaner and feel stronger. honestly ignoring the number is the only thing that helps me not hate the gym. just keep showing up.

Quote from Petallichen on June 30, 2022, 10:24 pmfr that’s wild. my man used to give me the silent treatment too after we argued. i stopped asking and just started focusing on myself. went to the gym, called my girls. sometimes u gotta show u dont need em to survive. if he keeps ignoring u like that, honestly evaluate the relationship. u deserve better than being treated like furniture.

Quote from Bridgeweb on August 17, 2022, 1:30 pmBabe take the nap. Seriously. My husband wants round two daily and I’m over it. I just tell him I’m dead to the world. We compromise on weekends. Rest is sacred at my age. If he’s mad he can sleep on the couch. Your energy is limited so spend it on yourself. Don’t feel guilty.
