i swear i am so tired of trying to figure out fitness. last tuesday i walked into aldi at 5 pm because i was hungry and stressed. i wanted to buy one of those protein bars they have near the register. the guy next to me was talking loudly about keto and carnivore diets on his phone. i just wanted to eat my sandwich and go home to watch tv. why does every video show someone eating kale at 4 am? i have a job and two kids. i cant track macros while folding laundry at 11 pm. i saw a post yesterday saying i need to buy a specific brand of whey powder that costs like forty dollars. i dont have forty dollars for powder. i just want to feel strong without reading a novel about nutrients. is anyone else just burnt out on the noise?

honestly i just chuckle and say no thanks. i need a solid block of quiet to actually decompress. five minutes feels like a blink. sometimes he wants to talk though so i just say lets talk over dinner later. i force a little boundary without making it huge. my brain still feels foggy from grading so i really need that space. just be upfront about needing downtime.

honestly same here after workdays. im usually exhausted and just want to crash. we started taking turns getting our needs met or just cuddling without pressure. sometimes he goes to the gym late or reads so i can sleep straight through. communication is key tho. tell him exactly when ur up for it. dont feel guilty about wanting rest.

I take a multivitamin and fish oil every morning with coffee lol. My daughter does the same thing so maybe she just feels like she knows better on this stuff. I just keep taking mine because I dont feel great without them. If it works for you keep doing it. Ignore the side eye.

i totally get it honestly. sometimes my body just feels like it clocked out for the day and my brain is stuck in overdrive. i just tell him straight up that i need zero pressure. usually we just cuddle or play on our phones until i actually feel present again. if i fake it or force it its worse. gotta protect my peace first or it turns into a chore and nobody wants that vibe.

honestly yeah. im just hitting the gym hard rn. nothing fixes my spiraling like lifting heavy weights til i cant breathe. then i go home, eat some good food from abuela, and watch trash tv. simple routine. not trying to be spiritual or anything just need to shut my brain off for a bit. its kinda loud in here sometimes.

i just accept the mess. when i feel like im crumbling i sit on my porch with cold coffee and watch the wind. no fixing, no journaling, just sitting. sometimes i cry till im bored. then i get up and make breakfast. the shedding happens whether i force it or not. just breathe through the ugliest part and let your body do what it needs to do. its messy but its real.

im a teacher too so i totally get this. its not just you. i keep a big water bottle on my desk and force myself to drink from it all day. dehydration hits hard in the afternoon. i also try to eat a small snack with protein around 2pm like a handful of almonds or string cheese. it helps keep my energy from crashing so hard at the end of the day.

yikes. sorry ur dealing with that. id cut him off right then and there. no second chances after lying about apps. just block him everywhere and dont look back. your energy is better spent on yourself right now. take a breath and focus on healing. you didnt deserve that disrespect. stay strong sister.

girl dont even sweat it. Ngl, honestly its just biology doing its job. i used to feel weird about it too but now i just laugh it off. like hey thanks for being excited. it means he wants me. dont let it make you feel pressured or anything, just roll with it. sometimes i tease him about it being too fast lol. just keep it chill.
