Quote from Elizabeth1984 on May 26, 2025, 5:57 amHoney, I skipped my walk today. Just sat on the porch with sweet tea instead. My knees were aching and the humidity was already setting in. Dont let guilt run your life. Drink some water, put on comfy clothes, and rest up. Tomorrow is a new day to try again if you want to.

Quote from martha1983 on April 30, 2025, 9:04 amI just soak in hot bath with epsom salts every night after leg day. Helps so much. Also stretch super slow before sleeping. Don’t ignore the pain though. If it keeps hurting talk to doc. I got hurt once pushing too hard. Now I rest when I need to. Listen to body. Sometimes less is more.

Quote from Dreamer1984 on October 29, 2025, 3:09 pmmy knees feel like lead too after driving all day. i just pop up every hour to stretch my legs and do some squats if i can. sometimes i put ice on them when i get home. its crazy how much sitting hurts older bodies. try not to stay in one spot for too long if you can help it. take care of yourself.

Quote from linda1988 on October 18, 2025, 6:54 pmyeah that happens to me too when i sit all day at the diner. mine gets stiff as a board. i just stand up and walk around the kitchen for a bit or do some simple stretches by the sink. helps a lot. drink water too cuz dehydration makes it worse. mine still hurts sometimes but moving around gets it to loosen up eventually. dont worry about it too much

Quote from Jules1984 on September 5, 2025, 8:32 pmi feel that. my husband used to think once a week was totally fine. honestly? yeah。 we just stopped scheduling it. now its whenever we actually want to。 turns out spontaneity matters more than a rigid calendar。 if he isnt asking for more maybe he just isnt turned on by the routine。

Quote from Capeglow on August 23, 2026, 6:04 pmim a teacher too so i totally get this. its not just you. i keep a big water bottle on my desk and force myself to drink from it all day. dehydration hits hard in the afternoon. i also try to eat a small snack with protein around 2pm like a handful of almonds or string cheese. it helps keep my energy from crashing so hard at the end of the day.

Quote from Towerharp on June 28, 2026, 4:22 pmMy husband works construction so he crashes hard around 2pm. I used to think something was wrong with me too. Then I started napping. Just twenty minutes on the couch while the kids play. Wake up grumpy at first but then the rest of evening is fine. Drinking five cups of coffee doesn't fix it. Try shutting your eyes.

Quote from Rubyclay on October 16, 2025, 10:11 pmnah i would just tell her straight up. tell her its not our culture or tradition here. we don't do that kind of stuff in the house. its confusing for my kids too. just say no politely but firmly. dont let her push it. keep the space yours. if she keeps it up ask her to do it at her place or temple. boundary setting is key fam.
