Quote from Lightpool on December 22, 2023, 8:57 ami just stopped buying snacks there entirely. the markup is insane like paying for the convenience not the food. i pack my own water and granola bars at home now. saves like twenty bucks a week easily. yeah its annoying but its way cheaper to just do it the old fashioned way. my students think i am cheap but my wallet says otherwise lol.

Quote from plantmama1986 on October 12, 2023, 7:38 amsister same here. my body feels heavy like lead but rent dont wait. i take paracetamol and keep typing with shaking hands. dont tell boss, just push through. if u faint who will pay bills? drink ginger tea if u can find time. we survive not because we strong but because we have no choice. take one day off max then back to grind.

Quote from Spindleplantation on January 20, 2023, 8:08 amHonestly same here. My guy works long hours too and comes home completely drained. I learned to just not make it a big deal. Sometimes we cuddle and call it a day. Other times he showers and we try later when hes a bit more rested. Just accept it and focus on other ways to connect like cooks dinner together or watching a show. No pressure is key for us.

Quote from Kind2000 on August 12, 2024, 7:48 amyeah totally. im busted after just three days of lecture. my lower back is screaming and i can barely lift my toddler. i just drink cold water, eat whatever is nearby and crash as soon as the kids go down. no fancy routines for me. just survival mode until the weekend hits. hope u get some rest soon because this semester is gonna drag.

Quote from mistrate on October 11, 2024, 8:18 amHonestly same here. For real, I used to force myself to meditate for twenty minutes every morning and it just felt like another item on my to, do list. Now I just read one chapter of a book before bed. No pressure, no timer, just me and the story. If I miss a night, I dont sweat it. It stopped feeling like a chore once I stopped treating it like a performance and just kept it ridiculously low stakes.

Quote from Capeorchard on September 30, 2024, 1:53 amit is 11 pm and the house is dead quiet. my husband fell asleep on the couch at 930 pm with the tv still on. i just did laundry for the fourth time this week because the kids spill juice everywhere. i went to target today for a $2 cereal box and spent $80 on stuff i do not need. now i am sitting here drinking rooibos tea but i cannot relax. the air feels heavy. why does my home feel so cold and empty when my whole family is literally in the other room? i tried lighting a candle from ulta but it did not help. i just feel so drained. is this normal or am i just crazy?

Quote from Free1969 on May 13, 2024, 11:23 pmok hi so im in my 20s but low energy is real for me too lol. I swear, growing up helping my mom with the household stuff before school drained me. now i just drink way more water and take a 20 min nap after lunch if i can. also stopped trying to be productive every.single.hour. its not impossible but you gotta listen to your body. rest is part of the work.

Quote from Spireflume on May 1, 2024, 2:18 pmmire, es pura verguenza ajena i miedo de ser judged. Me siento ridiula carrying 15lbs when everyone else lifts 50. Plus, my ego says i look strong but cant prove it. La primer week was brutal. Now just show up, grab the dumbbell, and ignore the gym bros staring. No hay drama, solo sudor. Si te da pena, hazlo en casa first.
