Quote from Bakerbee2003 on October 2, 2024, 12:36 pmi tell him if he wants it done his way he do it himself. we sit down and split chores right down the middle. no thank yous just duty. if i cook he cleans. if i fold he loads laundry. stop treating him like a guest. he lives here too. my tribal ways teach balance so i enforce it. if he complains i let him complain while i relax. his loss.

Quote from Spindleexit on October 15, 2024, 9:08 pmArey oye, change those socks daily beta! In India we say if you dont wash gym clothes separately, bacteria stays. Also maybe he needs better deodorant or shower more. Dont just complain, tell him directly to sort his hygiene. If he smells bad after one day, it is his problem not yours. Make him take responsibility for his own cleanliness. Simple as that.

Quote from Gentlebreeze1998 on September 5, 2024, 6:09 amomg seriously?? five minutes is barely enough time to settle in. my bf does this too and lowkey it’s kinda stressful. i just tell him i’m not ready yet and need to actually relax first. feels like a race sometimes. if he keeps pushing i’d honestly be confused bc like come on. give us a second to breathe ykno

Quote from Pam1974 on April 20, 2024, 3:41 pmsame here and its exhausting. i usually just do foam rolling and strength training 2x a week to balance the pounding. also way more protein post run or i crash hard. hydration matters too bc im always dehydrated. just listen to your body and take rest days. dont push through the pain. im in my 30s so recovery takes longer now than in college. hope you feel better soon.

Quote from Donna1970 on March 28, 2024, 6:35 pmI feel u. Every single time. I swear my body just knows when im about to relax and decides to crash. I just take electrolytes and tons of water then nap. Honestly its the worst feeling. Im literally sick right now after finally feeling human for like two days. Why do we do this to ourselves lol. Hang in there sis.

Quote from Brookspeed on July 13, 2024, 2:26 pmHoney I feel you. I get it too. As soon as I think I am cured, boom, back to bed. I just keep a stash of chicken soup mix and extra blankets ready. I take my vitamins religiously now and try to sleep early. It is annoying but I just ride it out. Drink lots of water and stay warm. Hope you feel better soon love.

Quote from kindsoil on June 11, 2024, 6:21 pmI just go. Half hour, straight to the treadmill, listen to a boring podcast, leave. No fancy routines, no intensity checks. If I skip, I feel sluggish and guilty all day. Going makes the rest of the week feel slightly less chaotic. Not doing it because Im squeezed often, but even 20 mins helps reset my brain. Work stays anyway, but the sweat helps.

Quote from Judy1968 on June 4, 2024, 4:11 amomg same. i swear my ghost leggings are just trying to ruin my self image. i buy new pairs thinking theyll be flattering but they just make me look like a sausage casing. its wild how much money i waste on workout gear that makes me feel fat. idk why i keep doing this to myself. maybe ill just switch back to sweatpants and save some money instead of stressing over yoga pants that judge me.

Quote from Quietstorm1985 on July 13, 2024, 10:03 pmit is 11 pm and the house is dead quiet. my husband fell asleep on the couch at 930 pm with the tv still on. i just did laundry for the fourth time this week because the kids spill juice everywhere. i went to target today for a $2 cereal box and spent $80 on stuff i do not need. now i am sitting here drinking rooibos tea but i cannot relax. the air feels heavy. why does my home feel so cold and empty when my whole family is literally in the other room? i tried lighting a candle from ulta but it did not help. i just feel so drained. is this normal or am i just crazy?
