yeah i get it. after juggling my kids i just dont have the energy to hit the gym. so i just do some gentle stretches in my living room while watching tv. helps my back from holding them all day. dont feel guilty about skipping the intense stuff rn. resting is valid too. we survive by doing what we can. hope you get some peace tonight.

fr I got u. sometimes I just want somebody to stare at me like I’m the only person in the room again. stuff gets real and u just wanna nap or argue about whose turn it is to do dishes. I catch myself daydreaming about those late night calls where we just talked for hours about nothing. it’s not wrong it’s just human. I’m still trying to figure out how to keep that spark alive without losing my mind.

honestly it sounds like my wake up call at 5 am lol. i used to think i was being dramatic but my doc checked my iron levels and they were low. game changer. we really do just expect ourselves to run on fumes these days. have you asked your dr to check your thyroid or vitamins lately? worth a shot even if u just want to nap more.

Not weird at all. For real, I miss making his coffee and folding his shirts way more than I miss the actual relationship. The drama was exhausting. The routine was peaceful. I still wake up reaching for the iron sometimes. It’s just quieter now. I’m learning to be okay with my own company instead of filling the space with someone else’s nonsense. It takes time but the calm is worth it.

idk if itll help but i sleep with my window cracked and a fan pointing directly at my feet. Tbh, also iced matcha instead of coffee helps me chill out before bed. its brutal rn though. my upstairs apartment is basically a sauna. just trying to survive until fall. hope u manage to get some rest.

I get it. At 47, i assumed sleep was free but it really ain’t. I cut coffee after 10am and started taking magnesium before bed. Also checking my iron levels. Sometimes it’s just bad habits. Try going to bed 30 mins earlier and no phone in bed. Just straight sleep.

same here. the humidity is brutal rn. i literally just put ice packs on my wrists and neck for like ten min before bed. also run the shower really cold until the pipes get freezing then turn it off and climb in. it actually helps me stay asleep longer since my body temp drops. good luck staying awake lol. going to try the fan trick again tonight.

Ugh that sounds so frustrating. My guy did the same thing, calling me crazy for wanting to talk while he was just scrolling on his phone. I stopped trying to fix it. I just told him I need him to be present or I’m gonna take my energy elsewhere. If he stays distant, mirror that. Don’t let him gaslight you into thinking you’re too much when he’s putting in zero effort. Keep it real with yourself.

ugh seriously my husband did the exact same thing last week after we moved to germany. i told him to take a hike because his mum lives three time zones away and i am not her. i cook what i want what happens and if he doesnt like it he can figure it out himself. honestly the constant moving makes me too tired to stress over replicating some random meal his brain is fixated on anyway. just keep doing you.
