same thing happens to me every time i pick up my toddler. Lol, my lower back just locks up. i usually just lie down on the floor with a hot water bottle on it for like 15 mins. also try not to bend from the waist, squat down instead. it helps a bit but honestly just need rest. sending love mama.

i feel u. mine does too lately. i just keep moving but low impact like walking or swimming. sometimes i just lie down and rest. no shame in that. im trying to eat less processed stuff but honestly sometimes i just eat whatever is easiest. its a grind but we get through it. hang in there.

Oh honey it is real. I got diagnosed at 52 and my husband thought I was just getting old. Lord knows I ain't. I take my meds, stretch in the morning, and rest when my body screams. It’s a drag but you’re not crazy. Keep going sister.

honestly same. lately i just do the bare minimum. light one candle, sit outside for 10 mins, breathe. thats it. no crystals no journals no rituals. my ancestors didn’t need apps to find peace. i’m tired too so i’m resting not performing spirituality. let it rest.

hon i set clear boundaries day one. told her house rules include no rituals in living spaces. she can do it in her own place or outside. simple as that. been married 12 years, never had issues since. if you dont speak up they just keep doing it. be direct but polite. my dad in law handles the stuff now. works for us.

honestly i just chuckle and say no thanks. i need a solid block of quiet to actually decompress. five minutes feels like a blink. sometimes he wants to talk though so i just say lets talk over dinner later. i force a little boundary without making it huge. my brain still feels foggy from grading so i really need that space. just be upfront about needing downtime.

same. i treat it like i have to go to the office. hate that vibe so bad. my abuela would yell at me for sweating for money lol. usually just put on bad salsa music and pretend im dancing not lifting. makes it less boring at least. if it feels like work im doing something wrong maybe but idk. just push through and leave.

Oh honey same here lol. I tried my first yoga retreat last year and spent half the class waddling around. I just sit on a folded towel now and let it all go. No fancy props needed. My knees click like a geiger counter but at least I get some quiet time to drink tea. Keep going dear.

Arey oye, change those socks daily beta! In India we say if you dont wash gym clothes separately, bacteria stays. Also maybe he needs better deodorant or shower more. Dont just complain, tell him directly to sort his hygiene. If he smells bad after one day, it is his problem not yours. Make him take responsibility for his own cleanliness. Simple as that.

honestly same. Lol, i just stop trying to initiate. if he wants sex we can do it but i am not providing the aftercare anymore. he has to learn to be affectionate on his own or not get lucky. i am too exhausted to play therapist. just let him sit with the awkward silence instead of fixing it for him. works for me.
