Quote from Iris1994 on April 5, 2023, 4:17 amhonestly just keep it stupid simple. military life is stressful enough without trying to figure out a ten, step routine. i stick to ceraface cleanser, moisturizer, and spf 50. thats it. if my skin looks trash i just sleep it off. stop overthinking it. complicated routines are a trap. consistency beats intensity every time. just wash your face and slather on sunscreen. really.

Quote from Luckycharm1995 on October 27, 2024, 9:19 amI feel you. At my age, I just dont want it either. My husband sleeps in the other room half the time and we are perfectly fine with that. I prefer cuddling on the couch watching tv without any pressure to perform. Life is too short to stress over something you dont need to do. Just relax and enjoy your time together.

Quote from SilkRetreat on April 5, 2024, 10:25 pmSame here honestly. After 2 kids, my energy is basically zero after work. I dont even think about it most days. We just sleep next to each other and thats it. Sometimes we try but im too tired so i say no. It has been like this for years now. I guess it is normal for us moms. My husband understands mostly but sometimes gets quiet about it.

Quote from Sunnybeam on February 20, 2024, 3:09 amhonestly i just bring the dumbbells and mat to the hotel room. Honestly, moving around every two years means i never feel like lugging a gym bag across town. im homebody now. if i had it my way id do a quick 15 min session in the living room while the kids nap. saves me from dealing with crowded locker rooms and strangers trying to use my equipment. simple is best for me these days.

Quote from ashley2001 on September 30, 2024, 1:53 amHonestly sounds like you are just burnt out. My aura isn’t broken either, just tired. I wake up early for fajr pray then rush kids to school. After work I cook for everyone because mom always says food is love. Now I sit on couch staring at phone. If I don’t sleep 8 hours my face gets pale and I snap at husband. Just rest already.

Quote from ruth2000 on April 6, 2024, 11:53 pmi started walking in flip flops one summer and low back pain hit. switched to actual walking shoes with arch support and it stopped. also my old yorkie pulls like crazy so i got a harness instead of a collar. changed my walking spot to the flat park path instead of the hilly neighborhood streets. sometimes its just the shoes or the terrain being too uneven. hope that helps.

Quote from isleivy on January 30, 2024, 8:54 amit is 11 pm and the house is dead quiet. my husband fell asleep on the couch at 930 pm with the tv still on. i just did laundry for the fourth time this week because the kids spill juice everywhere. i went to target today for a $2 cereal box and spent $80 on stuff i do not need. now i am sitting here drinking rooibos tea but i cannot relax. the air feels heavy. why does my home feel so cold and empty when my whole family is literally in the other room? i tried lighting a candle from ulta but it did not help. i just feel so drained. is this normal or am i just crazy?

Quote from StarSeaside on January 5, 2024, 5:55 pmomg girl same here. I used to hate going solo too but now its my sacred time. I just put on my 90s salsa playlist and pretend the instructor is singing to me. It’s weirdly motivating. Plus no awkward small talk with neighbors who know my business. Just me and the mat vibes. Te entendi, is hard but once you get into it, nada can stop you.
