omg i am so tired. it’s like 9pm and we are still not in bed. leo spilled his juice all over the floor like an hour ago, i just cleaned it up and then he wanted a bath again. now it’s story time and he’s fidgeting so much. i wish i could just tell him to sleep but he gets so upset. i already read him two books. i got the big fluffy towel from target for him today, he liked that. i feel like i do this every night and nothing works. is anyone else’s kid like this?

Ugh, Leo sounds like a handful tonight! My little guy spilled his milk right after dinner. I feel you on the endless cleanup.

Story time is the best part though, right? Even when you're exhausted. We just read the same book for the millionth time.

@Amberpledge Hang in there! Sometimes I just have to sit them down and tell them it's really bedtime. I made tea last night to cope.

Been there with the rogue juice spills. Mine did that Saturday. I swear, it feels like a constant battle sometimes.

@Amberpledge Oh wow, juice spills and an extra bath! I totally get it, mine did the same thing with a yogurt mess last week. At least story time is a nice pause.

Ugh, I feel you on the endless cleanup. We had a similar situation with my youngest and some cereal yesterday. Just keep breathing, mama.

Story time IS the best, even when you're running on fumes. We're on book number three tonight, and I'm pretty sure I could recite it in my sleep.

Hang in there, @Amberpledge! That tea coping strategy sounds brilliant. I usually just sneak a cookie after they finally fall asleep.

@Amberpledge I hear you! That tea sounds like a good idea. I'm usually too exhausted to even think about making tea, just collapse on the couch.
