hon i set clear boundaries day one. told her house rules include no rituals in living spaces. she can do it in her own place or outside. simple as that. been married 12 years, never had issues since. if you dont speak up they just keep doing it. be direct but polite. my dad in law handles the stuff now. works for us.

Yeah honey I been there. Lol, My knees dont stop hurting and I catch myself staring at the neighbors house wondering who is inside. So I started walking the track at my church twice a day. Just walking yall. No talking. It helps clear my head. Also tried those little pickle snacks at the drugstore weirdly they hit the spot. Be kind to yourself mama.

Honestly same here. My guy works long hours too and comes home completely drained. I learned to just not make it a big deal. Sometimes we cuddle and call it a day. Other times he showers and we try later when hes a bit more rested. Just accept it and focus on other ways to connect like cooks dinner together or watching a show. No pressure is key for us.

i feel that. Omg, moving every few years makes it hard to stick with a routine or find good spots. ive been lifting heavy and just focusing on strength instead of the scale number. the scale goes up bc muscle weighs more but i look leaner and feel stronger. honestly ignoring the number is the only thing that helps me not hate the gym. just keep showing up.

i literally just stopped asking him to do anything. if i need something done i do it myself or hire a babysitter for an hour. my sanity is worth more than his participation. dont wait around for him to step up he wont. lower your expectations to zero and stop explaining what you need. it just saves everyone the drama.

nah i dont wait for him. Ngl, i just do my half fast then relax. if he complains i tell him to do it himself or shut up. we made a schedule so i know when hes supposed to clean. if he doesnt do it i just leave the mess for him to deal with. stops whining when he has to mop his own floors. dont overthink it just set boundaries.

i drink a cup of nettle tea before bed and keep my room pitch black. also stop scrolling right before sleep, the blue light messes with your rest. i noticed once i stopped eating heavy meals late at night, i wake up way more refreshed. try drinking a big glass of water first thing in the morning too, dehydration hides as fatigue sometimes.

im a mil spouse so we moved 4 times in 3 years. Honestly, my prs never got stuck, they just vanished because i had no stable gym or consistent routine. i focused on mastering slow perfect reps with whatever weight i could carry in my duffel bag. consistency over intensity when life is chaotic. dont expect linear progress when ur environment keeps changing.

hey girl. my aunt had a scare too. i just sat with her and held her hand while she cried. we didnt talk. just let the tears come. its okay to fall apart. take your time. im holding space for you. hope u feel a lil lighter soon. sending big hugs to u and your fam. stay strong but also be gentle with yourself.

my husband used to say the same thing back in our twenties. Lol, i just stopped asking him what he wanted for dinner and started making whatever i felt like eating. he either eats it or he makes his own. honestly it’s been way less stressful since i stopped trying to recreate my mom’s exact recipes. my food is just mine now.
