Hard lessons about friendship
Quote from soilagreement on September 8, 2026, 7:04 amsame here honestly. i eat a heavy breakfast then crash hard. started bringing a little protein snack to work instead of waiting for lunch. also i realized i drink like two coffees before 10am which is def part of it. just forced myself to stop caffeine after 11 and it helped a bit. still tired but not dead lol.

Quote from Shoresnow on August 24, 2025, 3:54 pmyeah it totally kills momentum. Honestly, i finally got into a groove with my last partner before we moved cross country for work. now im just exhausted from unpacking and dealing with basic logistics. dont even have the energy for foreplay let alone anything else. its just so hard to build intimacy when you feel like youre constantly starting over somewhere new.

Quote from Abigail1969 on June 17, 2026, 9:21 amYeah totally normal. My husband does the same after work. He just sits on the porch and stares at the trees or works on his truck. I dont bother him. It gives him space to chill so hes not grumpy later. Some guys just need that quiet time to decompress. I get my own time too. We both respect it. It works for us.

Quote from Indigosilt on October 23, 2025, 6:12 amyeah mostly. i canceled mine after two months. the 10 minute guided sessions are fine but paying $15/mo for the same info you get on youtube for free is rough. now i just stare at a wall or listen to rain sounds. saves money, same stress relief. if you really need structure, buy a book once. cheaper in the long run.

Quote from Lisa1997 on August 20, 2026, 3:34 amsame. just bought a meditation app at 11pm and now i am staring at the ceiling waiting for enlightenment. it is not working. the couch feels like it glued itself to me. i tried shifting my legs but the friction coefficient is too high. probably will just nap for 20 mins and ruin my circadian rhythm again. send coffee. or dont. i am too tired to decide.

Quote from lori1967 on April 24, 2026, 5:11 pmYeah they do that every month. I just started going at 6 am before anyone else shows up so there's no wait. Or I do my own workout at home with dumbbells. Stop letting them dictate your peace. If the class is canceled for the third time this week maybe just find a different gym. My sanity is worth more than their incompetence.

Quote from megan1973 on August 22, 2026, 10:22 pmHoney same here. I used to pay for that gym membership but honestly just sat on one machine for twenty minutes. Now I walk my dog around the neighborhood twice a day. Gets my heart rate up and Im outside. Saves my wallet too. Plus I see the neighbors which is way nicer than staring at a wall.

Quote from Nicole1994 on June 9, 2025, 3:13 amYeah it’s the divorce fatigue. I’m 46 and honestly just wrecked. Spent all day sorting through mail and thinking about alimony payments instead of actually living. My knees hurt from walking the dog and my brain feels foggy all day. Just drank iced coffee but still feel heavy. Not sure if it’s grief or just old age kicking in early.

Quote from Poolretreat on November 14, 2025, 12:04 pmyupp its not just u. my knees scream after sitting 10 hrs at my desk coding. i swear the office chairs r designed to torture us. started doing those simple chair stretches every hour and bought a cheaper ergonomic cushion. helps a bit but still hurts when weather changes. just try not to ignore it before it gets worse. my dad had bad knees by 40 lol.
