nah same. honestly i just grab my phone and scroll tik toks until my eyes get heavy again. trying to sleep just makes me more mad. its like my brain decides 3am is the only time we can catch up on life. i drink water and just lay there listening to the city noises. u probs hungry too bt you too tired to get up lol

Honestly not weird at all. Ngl, We moved three times in two years so our bedroom setups have been half packed in boxes for months. Husband thinks I’m rejecting him, but I’m just exhausted. Most intimacy now is him falling asleep on the couch while I fold laundry. If I’m lucky we try for 10 minutes but usually it’s a nope from me. Just survive, don’t expect much until the kids actually leave the house.

Same. After the kids hit toddlerhood it vanished. Husband thinks we just forget. I start chores so he sleeps. Honestly cant be bothered explaining again. We touch but thats it. My auntie says wait til they leave home. I just nod. Feel like roommates who share dna. Maybe thats normal now. Just tired.

Same thing happens here. We just gave her a specific corner with a small table and told her that’s the only spot. She put up a little shrine and now it’s her sacred space. I actually don’t mind it that much as long as the incense smell doesn’t drift into the kitchen while I’m cooking dinner. Just set boundaries early.

i totally get it. some days feel like weeks. i just go to the gym three times a week and try to nap when the kids come over. helps a bit. my knees hurt bad when the rain comes but i keep moving. its just life i guess. hope u r ok too.

@sarah1989 That sounds exhausting. We just posted to Fort Bragg for the second time in five years. I finally bought a cheap folding table for the kitchen corner so I have one flat surface that is mine. The rest of the house is still half taped up. I just ignore the mess and do my laundry on that table now. It helps not having to unpack everything to find a shirt.
