Quote from Irongrind on February 13, 2024, 8:01 pmman i am so done with this shit. Lol, cancelled again yesterday. honestly ive just stopped going to the classes. i go early in the morning and use the machines by myself. its quiet, no waiting, and i dont care if they show up or not. sometimes i just walk the trails behind my house instead. its free and the air is good. dont let them get to you or stress out over it.

Quote from iris1983 on December 23, 2024, 3:15 pmHonestly same here. I used to force myself to meditate for twenty minutes every morning and it just felt like another item on my to, do list. Now I just read one chapter of a book before bed. No pressure, no timer, just me and the story. If I miss a night, I dont sweat it. It stopped feeling like a chore once I stopped treating it like a performance and just kept it ridiculously low stakes.

Quote from Barefoot1988 on July 8, 2024, 1:38 pmI pulled the plug on that nonsense years ago. If he says i am too sensitive while tossing out garbage, he gets told to take a hike. No explaining, no crying, just leaving the room. My peace is worth more than his ego. I dont waste breath arguing with someone who refuses to see reality. Y’all deserve better than walking on eggshells.

Quote from gemtempo on March 30, 2024, 1:39 pmmy joints hurt so bad i cant even sleep straight anymore. Lol, divorce wrecked my cortisol levels i guess. i just ice my knees and take ibuprofen. doctors keep telling me its stress but i feel like my bones are breaking. i just want to lay still without pain for like an hour. its exhausting being a functional human again.

Quote from Cliffdew on October 25, 2024, 12:14 ami lift 3x a week and the soreness is basically nonexistent after the first month. my form was terrible at first so i hurt like hell but now i just feel pumped. if you are super sore every time, you are probably doing too much or eating enough protein. also, foam rolling helps more than people admit.

Quote from Jacqueline1993 on August 14, 2024, 10:44 amgod yes. i did pilates last thursday and basically crawled out of bed this morning. like my hamstrings are literally screaming at me. i just soak in epsom salts and try not to move too much. it feels like someone poured cement in my legs. hate that feeling so much.

Quote from harpsuccess on November 17, 2024, 7:33 pmhonestly same vibe. my man keeps pushing stuff i just do not have energy for anymore. i told him straight up that i am tapped out. sometimes you just gotta say no to the new thing and protect your peace. i spent last weekend just sitting by the river refreshing myself. if you do not want it, do not do it. boundaries save marriages. he needs to accept where you are at right now.

Quote from Softlakeside1981 on June 15, 2024, 6:26 ammy husband is the same way. we just sit watch tv and hold hands. he says its enough to feel close. i tried talking more but he gets shut down. so now i just lean into it. sometimes silence is better than fake words. dont force convo if hes not there. just sit with him. it works for us even if it feels weird at first. trust the quiet.
