So I just got back from the grocery store. It was 6:30 pm. Of course, the line was insane. I swear, the self-checkout machines were all broken again. Grabbed milk, bread, some chicken breasts, and a giant bag of those goldfish crackers Leo eats. $150, I kid you not. And for what, a few days of food? Meanwhile, Leo is demanding a snack the second I walked in the door. And Maya needs help with her homework. Anyone else feel like this is just a never-ending cycle? What do you guys do to make it less soul-crushing?

Ugh, @truerain, that grocery store rush is the WORST. And the self-checkout always seems to be on strike when you need it most. Did you at least find everything you needed?

Oh no, @truerain, 6:30 pm is a brutal time for the grocery store. I try to go mid-morning if I can swing it, but sometimes life just happens. Hope you got that chicken for dinner!
