Quote from Azurenest on October 7, 2024, 2:24 amyupp its not just u. my knees scream after sitting 10 hrs at my desk coding. i swear the office chairs r designed to torture us. started doing those simple chair stretches every hour and bought a cheaper ergonomic cushion. helps a bit but still hurts when weather changes. just try not to ignore it before it gets worse. my dad had bad knees by 40 lol.

Quote from coralvalley on June 1, 2024, 9:19 amTotally feel this. I work in IT so I spend all day glued to screens anyway. Gym is just another isolating activity for me. I go to my local place near the office, grab a squat rack, listen to a podcast while lifting, then leave. No eye contact, no small talk. It’s efficient but yeah, super lonely. I usually just text my hype girl before and after. We don’t even workout together, just vent about heavy sets.

Quote from Pearlpledge on July 20, 2024, 11:32 ami literally nod off in my car for ten mins before going home. just sit there and breathe. its the only quiet i get. dont try to be a hero after those meetings. they drain u. so just chill. drink some water. maybe soak your feet if u can. keep it simple. no fancy routines needed. just rest.

Quote from SweetTide on August 20, 2024, 6:57 amnah just go. i always use busy work as an excuse to skip but regret it later. my family gathers every weekend so i try to squeeze in a quick session before them. keeps the stress down. even twenty minutes is better than nothing. dont overthink it. just put on your shoes and go. you will feel better after.

Quote from claytreaty on January 3, 2024, 3:46 pmI don’t deal with that nonsense. Lol, If my husband speaks to me with disrespect, I shut it down right then. I tell him I’m not accepting that tone and I’m walking away until he can speak properly. You aren’t too sensitive, you just have standards. Don’t let him gaslight you into thinking his bad behavior is your problem. Walk away if he won’t change.

Quote from softlakeside1983 on April 26, 2024, 9:36 pmhonestly same. i just go to stretch and scroll tiktok while sitting on the bench. half the machines are broken anyway so might as well chill. my arms are thick enough from carrying groceries and all my kids. yall spend twenty bucks to sit on a treadmill watching netflix? wild. i’d rather save the cash for lunch.
