Friendship breakups
Quote from Windisland on October 7, 2024, 12:21 pmYeah they do that every month. I just started going at 6 am before anyone else shows up so there's no wait. Or I do my own workout at home with dumbbells. Stop letting them dictate your peace. If the class is canceled for the third time this week maybe just find a different gym. My sanity is worth more than their incompetence.

Quote from daleflume on June 3, 2024, 9:07 pmman i feel this so hard. my partner is the same way. its exhausting. i literally start withdrawing if its just about finishing. i tell him straight up that if he wants cuddling just ask for it separately. its not my job to assume hes cuddly after. i need connection not just release. its so tiring to have to manage his emotions around intimacy too.

Quote from Duskfrost on June 5, 2024, 4:57 pmHonestly sounds like you are just burnt out. For real, My aura isn’t broken either, just tired. I wake up early for fajr pray then rush kids to school. After work I cook for everyone because mom always says food is love. Now I sit on couch staring at phone. If I don’t sleep 8 hours my face gets pale and I snap at husband. Just rest already.

Quote from Marie1996 on February 21, 2024, 7:21 pmmy husband is the same way. we just sit watch tv and hold hands. he says its enough to feel close. i tried talking more but he gets shut down. so now i just lean into it. sometimes silence is better than fake words. dont force convo if hes not there. just sit with him. it works for us even if it feels weird at first. trust the quiet.

Quote from Rachel1983 on April 10, 2024, 12:38 pmMija same. I swear the gym smells like sweat and regret. I just walk at my local park while listening to bad reggaeton. No equipment needed just me moving my body. Sometimes I go back and forth at home too. If I miss a day I dont overthink it. Life is messy. Consistency is boring anyway. Just do what feels good that day. Ay ay ay.

Quote from Softlakeside1999 on January 5, 2024, 3:36 pmSame here basically. Just moved for my husbands deployment this month. Doc says labs are perfect but i am dragging all day. I ended up checking my iron and vits too. Low iron was part of it. Also just standard military life burnout. Try adding straight iron supplements if you havent. Helps a bit at least until we settle in new base housing. Good luck

Quote from Bluebirdsky on January 5, 2024, 3:36 pmAura is just a fancy word for burnout. I stare at my spreadsheet at 7pm and feel like a ghost haunting my own kitchen. Sleep helps. Also eating something that isnt granola. If you cant look in the mirror without screaming maybe take the day off. Work does not care if you glow.

Quote from Moonchild2003 on January 23, 2024, 8:35 amgirl same. honestly just ordering food is my foreplay now lol. my husband thinks i am crazy but we keep it simple. sometimes we just cuddle and watch netflix until one of us gets lucky. dont stress too much about being spicy all the time. keeping the connection alive is what matters mostly. we are tired mamas, we deserve rest too. buen vibe siempre.

Quote from Ironepic on November 10, 2024, 8:54 pmI don’t play that game. If he leaves it, I let it rot. Seriously. I won’t pick up after an grown man acting like a child. I just move my cleaning supplies away from the sink and let him deal with the mess himself. He figures it out quick when he has no clean pans for coffee. Boundaries keep me sane.

Quote from Bakerbee1976 on September 1, 2024, 1:05 amHonestly I just sit on the bench with my coffee and watch. They can climb the whole structure without me. I tried running around too when they were little but my knees gave out. Now I just yell if they get stuck. My back hurts enough from carrying groceries. Let them be independent already. I need to rest, not play.
