Quote from Budstub on April 5, 2024, 1:12 pmLook I got that same knee trouble. I just take ibuprofen when I actually need it to move around. Not everyday though. My doctor said its safe in moderation. Also try putting ice on it after work. I keep a bag in the freezer ready to go. Works better than sitting there in pain trying to be tough.

Quote from CovetIN on August 17, 2024, 10:13 amYeah it’s super isolating. I just go in with huge noise cancelling headphones and try to invisibly blend into the background. My routine is strictly chest and back so i don’t have to interact with anyone. If someone accidentally bumps into my rack i just grunt and move away. id rather be home reading anyway lol. gym socializing feels forced and unnecessary. just power through and leave.

Quote from Joan1993 on August 17, 2024, 9:55 pmyeah it totally kills momentum. i finally got into a groove with my last partner before we moved cross country for work. now im just exhausted from unpacking and dealing with basic logistics. dont even have the energy for foreplay let alone anything else. its just so hard to build intimacy when you feel like youre constantly starting over somewhere new.

Quote from cottonpass on May 14, 2024, 5:46 pmSame here honestly. After 2 kids, my energy is basically zero after work. I dont even think about it most days. We just sleep next to each other and thats it. Sometimes we try but im too tired so i say no. It has been like this for years now. I guess it is normal for us moms. My husband understands mostly but sometimes gets quiet about it.

Quote from Alexis1969 on November 9, 2024, 2:41 pmi tell him if he wants it done his way he do it himself. we sit down and split chores right down the middle. no thank yous just duty. if i cook he cleans. if i fold he loads laundry. stop treating him like a guest. he lives here too. my tribal ways teach balance so i enforce it. if he complains i let him complain while i relax. his loss.

Quote from Pawmission on July 13, 2024, 10:03 pmHonestly I think it’s both. My knees hurt all the time but my spirit feels heavy too. I just sit on the porch with my coffee and let God handle the worry. Y’all need to rest more. Not everything needs fixing today. Just breathe and take it one hour at a time. I’m trying to stop doing so much for everybody else.

Quote from Boldbrake on August 25, 2024, 2:51 ami started walking in flip flops one summer and low back pain hit. switched to actual walking shoes with arch support and it stopped. also my old yorkie pulls like crazy so i got a harness instead of a collar. changed my walking spot to the flat park path instead of the hilly neighborhood streets. sometimes its just the shoes or the terrain being too uneven. hope that helps.

Quote from twinkletail on February 21, 2024, 7:21 pmHappens to me all the time. I switched to a heavy duty detergent and added a cup of white vinegar to the rinse cycle. Also stopped letting wet clothes sit in the machine. Usually put them right in the dryer. Makes a huge difference. My old stuff smelled like a swamp till i did that. Now it just smells like clean cotton. Try the vinegar trick first its cheap and works.

Quote from calmscale on February 21, 2024, 7:21 pmok so this happens to me too ngl. Lol, i figured out its the fabric softener causing it honestly. that stuff coats the fibers and traps bacteria basically. just stop using dryer sheets or liquid softener on activewear. instead throw a cup of white vinegar in the rinse cycle. smells like nothing once dry but kills the funk. also dont let wet clothes sit in the hamper for days that makes it worse trust me.
