Quote from Frostbattle on January 6, 2026, 11:33 amomg same. i’ve been sitting at my desk all day and my feet look like puffy marshmallows. i keep taking off my shoes under the table at work. honestly i think its just the chicago heat or maybe i’m dehydrated. i started drinking like 4 gallons of water a day k ik its a lot but it helped a little. just chilling with em off tonight.

Quote from Ashlake on July 8, 2025, 8:30 amHonestly same here. I used to force myself to meditate for twenty minutes every morning and it just felt like another item on my to, do list. Now I just read one chapter of a book before bed. No pressure, no timer, just me and the story. If I miss a night, I dont sweat it. It stopped feeling like a chore once I stopped treating it like a performance and just kept it ridiculously low stakes.

Quote from truehoar on May 2, 2026, 10:13 pmmy husband is the same way. we just sit watch tv and hold hands. he says its enough to feel close. i tried talking more but he gets shut down. so now i just lean into it. sometimes silence is better than fake words. dont force convo if hes not there. just sit with him. it works for us even if it feels weird at first. trust the quiet.

Quote from Redrose1982 on June 16, 2026, 6:01 pmYeah honestly. Hubby snores so loud i just give up after a while. We make out sometimes but that is about it. I think at our age it just is not the main event anymore. We hold hands and watch tv which is nice enough. Dont stress about it. My body just aches too much for anything wild.

Quote from Wise1992 on June 29, 2025, 2:52 pmgirl listen to me i train twice as hard too but my prs are trash. honestly think its recovery not effort. i eat like a horse every day and sleep 8 hours straight. if ur not eating enough or sleeping like a baby ur body literally cant build. stop killing urself in the gym and start feeding that body. sometimes less is more tbh. try deloading for a week and see what happens.

Quote from Brave1973 on March 6, 2026, 6:58 pmsame here. i just stare at the ceiling till my eyes hurt. usually its work stuff or wondering if i said something stupid. eventually i get up to drink water and check emails which is stupid but hey. then i feel worse. so i go back to bed. it’s a vicious cycle of overthinking and bad decisions. gonna try nap time tonight instead.

Quote from sophia1993 on August 30, 2025, 6:06 pmi literally nod off in my car for ten mins before going home. just sit there and breathe. its the only quiet i get. dont try to be a hero after those meetings. they drain u. so just chill. drink some water. maybe soak your feet if u can. keep it simple. no fancy routines needed. just rest.

Quote from Fernwing on May 17, 2025, 9:47 pmugh tell me about it. i cant even sit down right bc my quads are screaming. took me three days to walk down the stairs after my last session and even that was a struggle. i just layed in bed and stared at the ceiling while my legs shook. but hey at least we look good doing it, right? ugh. seriously though hope it goes away by tomorrow.

Quote from Kimberly1967 on August 1, 2026, 3:14 amI literally just told my man to take over every other weekend. No negotiation. If he wants to be a dad, he steps up. I used to do everything too until I got so tired I just stopped caring. Now he handles bedtime and laundry on his days. It’s not fair but it’s necessary for my sanity. Just set the boundary baby.
