Quote from Sharon1977 on October 22, 2024, 7:31 ami totally get it honestly. sometimes my body just feels like it clocked out for the day and my brain is stuck in overdrive. i just tell him straight up that i need zero pressure. usually we just cuddle or play on our phones until i actually feel present again. if i fake it or force it its worse. gotta protect my peace first or it turns into a chore and nobody wants that vibe.

Quote from Sunlitrain1999 on May 26, 2024, 7:41 pmHonestly I just stopped apologizing. My husband thinks I’m mad sometimes but I’m not. Just tired. Or bored. It’s okay. We cuddle instead. Or watch TV. I don’t force it. If I want to, it happens. If not, we sleep. My body isn’t a public service. Try that. It works for us. At least the guilt is gone for me.

Quote from Wise2001 on May 1, 2024, 2:18 pmhonestly i just ice them for 20 mins right after and take ibuprofen. we move every 3 years so i dont have a regular PT and literally cant afford to take days off work. just stretch hard before bed and try not to jump around so much tomorrow. knees are wrecked from all the boxes we drag into these tiny apartment moves anyway. lol.

Quote from leafvoyage on September 6, 2024, 8:25 pmHaha omg same. I swear these leggings just hug every single bit of fat. Just bought new pair and feel bloated already. Honestly think its bloat from eating carbs after gym or just holding water. My scale went up 2kg yesterday but looks the same. So annoying. Just drink more water and ignore the mirror for 2 days. We good right

Quote from glow on April 5, 2024, 9:44 pmI walked away from the gym too. Water retention and cortisol are real messes. I started doing yoga in my living room instead. No mirrors, no scales, just moving. It took months to feel normal again. Your body is stressed, not broken. Give it peace, not punishment. Focus on how you sleep and eat. The weight will sort itself out when you stop fighting it.

Quote from Kimberly1983 on October 20, 2024, 3:41 amI literally sprint into the locker room and close my eyes for 60 sec. Heart rate spikes just thinking about people watching. My trick is noise cancelling headphones and ignoring everyone. Once i start moving the panic fades. Just zone out. dont look at mirrors. keep it simple. u got this but yeah the walk in is the hardest part.
