Quote from towerexhibit on October 11, 2024, 8:18 ami dont believe in auras but i know what burnout feels like. if you cant function through your day its exhaustion not a spiritual crisis. i took a mental health day this week just to sleep and eat real food. no screens. you need rest not a cleanse. drop whatever isnt urgent and go lie down. your body is screaming at you to stop. listen to it.

Quote from laura1979 on September 5, 2024, 10:13 amhonestly just changed his routine completely. told him if he wants to keep seeing me he needs to shower right after the gym not wait till he gets home. also switch to a stronger deodorant and change underwear twice a day if sweating. i dont care how tired he is nobody wants to smell that. simple fix really.

Quote from Becky1998 on May 6, 2024, 9:55 amugh leave her alone. I take so much stuff my daughter thinks I’m one pill away from exploding. Vitamin d, b complex, magnesium, the works. If it makes me feel better then I’m taking it. She rolls her eyes but now she’s putting gummies in my bag. let her think I’m crazy as long as I’m healthy. mi vida es mi fiesta.

Quote from crimsonstar on April 29, 2024, 9:23 amsame thing happens to me every time i pick up my toddler. my lower back just locks up. i usually just lie down on the floor with a hot water bottle on it for like 15 mins. also try not to bend from the waist, squat down instead. it helps a bit but honestly just need rest. sending love mama.

Quote from Trueseaside1994 on December 21, 2024, 6:06 pmMan that is rough. Honestly we do a chore chart every Sunday night. Pretty much treats it like work shifts. He got the evening shift until 8 then I take over. It ain't always perfect but it helps split the mental load. If he ghosts his shift we talk about it the next day no yelling just facts. You gotta set boundaries early or it never changes.

Quote from towerworks on March 15, 2024, 9:30 amAura is just a fancy word for burnout. Tbh, I stare at my spreadsheet at 7pm and feel like a ghost haunting my own kitchen. Sleep helps. Also eating something that isnt granola. If you cant look in the mirror without screaming maybe take the day off. Work does not care if you glow.

Quote from Scalevista on October 2, 2024, 12:36 pmsame here. standing 8 hrs for work made my arches scream. i just swap to orthopedic inserts, not the cheap ones from mall. works way better. also try evening foot soak with epsom salt, helps reduce swelling after long shift. dont push through pain or it turns into plantar fasciitis. trust me, learned the hard way last year.
