same here. i label my leftovers with my name and the date in big marker. if he eats them he knows he messed up. started doing that last month and honestly it stopped. men are simple creatures. they just need a clear boundary drawn for them lol. now i just keep mine in the top shelf so he cant even see them

Honestly same here. I used to force myself to meditate for twenty minutes every morning and it just felt like another item on my to, do list. Now I just read one chapter of a book before bed. No pressure, no timer, just me and the story. If I miss a night, I dont sweat it. It stopped feeling like a chore once I stopped treating it like a performance and just kept it ridiculously low stakes.

omg girl same. I literally throw his clothes in the wash the second he takes them off. If they stay in the hamper for more than a few hours, forget it. The smell is unreal. I even wash his workout gear separately with extra detergent because regular stuff doesnt cut it. My bf thinks Im crazy but hey, nobody wants to date a human stench bag. Just keep that washer running, mija.

y'all drink water after that sweat session? i always forget and end up crashing. also make sure yer eating enough protein right after. i had to train myself to snack on greek yogurt immediately. my body needed the fuel. rest is important too but hunger hits harder than i thought. try it out.

ugh seriously my husband did the exact same thing last week after we moved to germany. i told him to take a hike because his mum lives three time zones away and i am not her. i cook what i want what happens and if he doesnt like it he can figure it out himself. honestly the constant moving makes me too tired to stress over replicating some random meal his brain is fixated on anyway. just keep doing you.

lol so true. i code all day then drag my body to lift heavy things. my back is always stiff but i refuse to stop. my husband thinks im crazy but gym keeps my mind clear. sometimes i just go to hit the treadmill and listen to arabic music loud. dont care if it feels rigged. i need the sweat to feel human. we overthink too much as tech workers. just move your body. simple.

nah not weird at all i work two jobs up here in the hills and by the time i get home i just want to sit on the porch and stare at the mountains. my husband gets it too we are basically roommates sometimes and thats fine. dont let anyone make you feel guilty for being tired. rest is important.

omg seriously?? five minutes is barely enough time to settle in. my bf does this too and lowkey it’s kinda stressful. i just tell him i’m not ready yet and need to actually relax first. feels like a race sometimes. if he keeps pushing i’d honestly be confused bc like come on. give us a second to breathe ykno

same thing happen to me fr. i just started doing light stretching at home instead of going to the gym. less pressure and i dont have to deal w people staring. also try listening to loud music while u move it helps drown out the noise in my head. dont be too hard on urself. its a journey for real.

I stopped having a home gym. Honestly, Bought one of those cheap folding bikes and keep it in the garage. My grandkids think it is a race car. At least the floor stays clear. After forty years of letting them run wild I just gave up on pristine spaces. Now i chase them outside with water balloons when they get too rowdy. Works every time.
