Quote from Cloudshine on July 19, 2023, 1:35 pmMine hurt too after leg day. Tbh, I just ice them and wrap them tight. Rest is key. Dont push through the pain or youll make it worse. Drink lots of water and stretch gently. If it still hurts after a few days see a doc. My grandma always said listen to your body, it knows when its tired. Take it easy for a bit.

Quote from calmtide on December 9, 2023, 1:35 pmlol seriously. Tbh, my guy thinks moving is just lifting boxes while i handle the actual chaos. we agree that for the first two weeks everything goes in trash bags labeled by room. no cleaning until everything is in its right house. if he wants it perfect, he helps me pack. otherwise he deals with the mess.

Quote from Denise1975 on May 5, 2023, 9:00 pmyeah mostly. i canceled mine after two months. the 10 minute guided sessions are fine but paying $15/mo for the same info you get on youtube for free is rough. now i just stare at a wall or listen to rain sounds. saves money, same stress relief. if you really need structure, buy a book once. cheaper in the long run.

Quote from Pinkpermit on June 17, 2023, 7:29 pmhaha same energy. Tbh, my hips are basically jelly right now after that hot yoga sesh. i just lie on the couch in a fetal position and scroll reddit until the ache goes away. zero zen achieved today. just pure regret and ibuprofen. honestly if anyone tries to talk mindfulness to me rn im gonna scream. send snacks not solutions.

Quote from mosssurety on June 21, 2023, 6:35 amSame thing happens here. I swear, We just gave her a specific corner with a small table and told her that’s the only spot. She put up a little shrine and now it’s her sacred space. I actually don’t mind it that much as long as the incense smell doesn’t drift into the kitchen while I’m cooking dinner. Just set boundaries early.

Quote from madison1967 on November 8, 2023, 7:46 amugh same here. i literally could not move after sitting through hours of teachers explaining why my son needs more support. my brain is completely fried and my spirit is low. im just gonna sit on the couch tonight in sweatpants and eat takeout. no cooking, no cleaning, just pure silence. if u need to vent about the exhaustion hit reply. we deserve a break after all that mental load.

Even coffee doesnt help after 1pm. Just crash on sofa for one ghanta. If I dont rest, whole shabaar mood ho jaata hai. Husband thinks I am lazy but actually body just shuts down. Survive till dinnar time only.

Quote from Silvertunnel on October 4, 2024, 2:23 pmi use heating pads and witch hazel compresses when the pain gets bad. also trying to walk barefoot on grass helps ground me and loosen up my joints. my grandma taught me to rub warm olive oil mixed with clove oil into the knees before bed. it’s not a cure but it takes the edge off without numbing me out. keep moving gentle don’t let it sit still too long.

Quote from graceoasis on February 11, 2024, 7:37 ammy husband smells like old socks and gym bags even after a quick rinse. i just put on earplugs and read until he falls asleep. it is genuinely the worst part of the day. we have talked about it but he says he is too tired. honestly i just avoid touching him until morning.

Quote from StormLeaf on April 17, 2024, 12:51 amnope not worth the extreme soreness but totally worth the strength gains. Lol, i lift four times a week mostly compound movements. yes it hurts for a day or two after back day but you get so strong so fast. the mirror dont lie when you see those shoulders pop out. just push through the initial discomfort. its temporary but the results stay. keep lifting sisters.
