Quote from Suntale on September 13, 2024, 4:54 pmhonestly I just ignore it. I lift heavy and focus on my form so whatever he thinks of my accent doesnt matter. He’s probably intimidated since I’m deadlifting more than him. If he says something directly rude I’ll tell him to keep it to himself but usually they just shut up when they see you’re not messing around.

Quote from Danielle1994 on April 18, 2024, 5:21 amhonestly just changed his routine completely. told him if he wants to keep seeing me he needs to shower right after the gym not wait till he gets home. also switch to a stronger deodorant and change underwear twice a day if sweating. i dont care how tired he is nobody wants to smell that. simple fix really.

Quote from Amber1995 on January 5, 2024, 5:58 amArre, ye kya baat hai. My husband also sleeps with mouth hanging open, looks scary actually. I tried taping his mouth once with medical tape, he woke up confused next morning. Now I just give up after two years. It is annoying but not dealbreaker for us. Sahi hai, we make do. If you cant handle it, try nasal strips maybe?

Quote from Wonderlark on July 6, 2024, 1:59 ami totally get it honestly. sometimes my body just feels like it clocked out for the day and my brain is stuck in overdrive. i just tell him straight up that i need zero pressure. usually we just cuddle or play on our phones until i actually feel present again. if i fake it or force it its worse. gotta protect my peace first or it turns into a chore and nobody wants that vibe.

Quote from doris2003 on May 28, 2024, 3:52 pmnah that sounds like he’s just trying to get away with being rude. i just tell my partner straight up that his tone is disrespectful and i won’t tolerate it. if he gets defensive then i know he’s not listening. i walk away until he can speak to me with basic respect. you’re not too sensitive for wanting to be treated right.

Quote from Fluteretreat on January 7, 2024, 8:36 pmwe moved 3 times last year. Ngl, my husband thinks moving boxes is mans work but folding shirts is mine. i let the living room pile up. he complained once then carried the trash to curb himself. dont cook fancy food on day 1. order pizza. if house isnt perfect but kids are fed and beds are made thats win in my book. survival mode is real for immigrant moms.

Quote from Valewarrant on March 27, 2024, 12:37 pmomg seriously?? five minutes is barely enough time to settle in. my bf does this too and lowkey it’s kinda stressful. i just tell him i’m not ready yet and need to actually relax first. feels like a race sometimes. if he keeps pushing i’d honestly be confused bc like come on. give us a second to breathe ykno

Quote from Patricia1994 on May 20, 2024, 7:21 pmArey oye, change those socks daily beta! In India we say if you dont wash gym clothes separately, bacteria stays. Also maybe he needs better deodorant or shower more. Dont just complain, tell him directly to sort his hygiene. If he smells bad after one day, it is his problem not yours. Make him take responsibility for his own cleanliness. Simple as that.

Quote from hoarscene on April 10, 2024, 12:38 pmYeah it’s annoying but not a dealbreaker unless it’s like a vacuum cleaner. I had to train my partner because the snoring was killing me too. Tried mouth tape first but he hated it. Now he just sleeps on his side with a humidifier running. If it drives you crazy give him one of those strips before breaking up. Otherwise just get earplugs and stop looking at his face at 3am.

Quote from Sweet1969 on May 13, 2024, 1:31 pmI just throw a load of laundry in and call it a day. My husband complains but he never helps so I just ignore him. I’m black and white but mostly exhausted from moving every two years. Chicago winters are brutal enough without stressing over dust bunnies. I eat cereal on the counter while boxes sit in the living room. If he wants it perfect he can clean it himself. I’m too tired to care rn.
