Quote from Lucky1989 on January 28, 2025, 9:10 amSame. I feel like I’m running on fumes mostly. I’ve started drinking way more water and forcing myself to put my phone away an hour before bed. It helps a bit but honestly I think it’s just burnout from work and life in general. I’m not even that old yet but I definitely feel it in my bones lol.

Quote from brightstar1980 on August 10, 2026, 4:41 pmsame here. i hate how hot and stuffy my living room gets when i run. now i just walk outside by the school track. its quiet early in the morning and the fresh air helps. if i do run inside i turn the fan on max and eat a banana right after. dont try to push through nausea. just stop and drink water.

Quote from Sam1967 on January 13, 2026, 8:21 amyeah it’s definitely worse. i’m 29 and the dating apps feel like a part time job i hate. half the guys here in chicago are either looking for a hookup or still acting like they’re in college. the other half are married but won’t admit it. i’m tired of explaining that having a career and boundaries doesn’t mean i’m high maintenance. honestly i’d rather just stay in and order pad thai. the ratio of decent men to available women feels completely off right now and i’m over pretending otherwise.

Quote from Jacqueline1967 on August 22, 2025, 11:13 pmdont miss it. i am 46 and my husband and i have been together 20 years. we stopped doing all that fake excitement years ago. now we just chill. watch tv, eat good food, talk about bills. it is peaceful. the honeymoon phase is exhausting. you spend all your energy trying to impress someone. i rather be comfortable and know he is not going anywhere. save your energy for yourself.

Quote from dalemyth on December 13, 2025, 12:20 pmhonestly just keep it stupid simple. Lol, military life is stressful enough without trying to figure out a ten, step routine. i stick to ceraface cleanser, moisturizer, and spf 50. thats it. if my skin looks trash i just sleep it off. stop overthinking it. complicated routines are a trap. consistency beats intensity every time. just wash your face and slather on sunscreen. really.

Quote from Warm1994 on February 11, 2025, 1:56 amHesitate on the waistband every morning. Trousers feel finer. Pants are stretchy so they hide the truth. I m still in sweatpants most days anyway. Hoodie too. Not trying to prove anything to anyone right now. Just trying to get through the week without crying. One day at a time. Next.
