it is 11 pm and the house is dead quiet. my husband fell asleep on the couch at 930 pm with the tv still on. i just did laundry for the fourth time this week because the kids spill juice everywhere. i went to target today for a $2 cereal box and spent $80 on stuff i do not need. now i am sitting here drinking rooibos tea but i cannot relax. the air feels heavy. why does my home feel so cold and empty when my whole family is literally in the other room? i tried lighting a candle from ulta but it did not help. i just feel so drained. is this normal or am i just crazy?

same thing happens to me every time i pick up my toddler. my lower back just locks up. i usually just lie down on the floor with a hot water bottle on it for like 15 mins. also try not to bend from the waist, squat down instead. it helps a bit but honestly just need rest. sending love mama.

Same here. I skip the meditation apps. Just take ibuprofen, put on compression socks, and lie flat for 20 mins. Hot shower helps too. Dont try to fix it instantly. Just rest properly. My lower back is killing me from coding all week so I know the pain. Keep pushin through but dont ignore the ache. Eat something salty too.

dont miss it. i am 46 and my husband and i have been together 20 years. we stopped doing all that fake excitement years ago. now we just chill. watch tv, eat good food, talk about bills. it is peaceful. the honeymoon phase is exhausting. you spend all your energy trying to impress someone. i rather be comfortable and know he is not going anywhere. save your energy for yourself.

Oh honey same here lol. I tried my first yoga retreat last year and spent half the class waddling around. I just sit on a folded towel now and let it all go. No fancy props needed. My knees click like a geiger counter but at least I get some quiet time to drink tea. Keep going dear.

same here. standing 8 hrs for work made my arches scream. i just swap to orthopedic inserts, not the cheap ones from mall. works way better. also try evening foot soak with epsom salt, helps reduce swelling after long shift. dont push through pain or it turns into plantar fasciitis. trust me, learned the hard way last year.

yupp its not just u. Tbh, my knees scream after sitting 10 hrs at my desk coding. i swear the office chairs r designed to torture us. started doing those simple chair stretches every hour and bought a cheaper ergonomic cushion. helps a bit but still hurts when weather changes. just try not to ignore it before it gets worse. my dad had bad knees by 40 lol.

I just put my headphones on and ignore it. For real, Honestly half those people are probably looking at themselves anyway I do my thing and leave. I’ve been in three different bases so far this year so im used to feeling like the new kid everywhere. Just focus on your workout and try not to overthink it. People are usually more concerned with their own appearance than yours.

I stopped trying to manifest money long ago. Now I just grind. I budget tight, pick up extra shifts, and invest what I can. If I want a new car I save for it or work a second job. Manifesting felt like waiting for a check that never arrives. Real talk its about action not just vibes. I focus on what I can control today.
