Quote from Goldenheart1970 on May 11, 2021, 2:29 amhonestly it feels like every influencer has glutes now lol i just do squats with a book between my knees because my physical therapist said my muscles are asleep. i dont care about the fancy bands or the 10 minute routines i just want to not feel like an old man when i stand up. rest of the time i read on the couch. if it helped me walk up stairs without wincing id be cool with it but the hype is exhausting

Quote from Citygirl2000 on March 3, 2022, 7:27 pmThat sounds like a lot of work. I keep my husband happy on weekends so I can sleep in during the week. We also have kids so weekends are basically for family time anyway. If he wants that much energy maybe he can focus on his own hobbies. Honestly I just want to rest too. My body gets tired from work and looking after the house.

Quote from Diana2001 on November 26, 2022, 12:54 amsame honestly. i’m burnt out from taking two cabs to the gym after work just to hit a PR. my brain won’t shut up about work so my weight is off. i switched to 3 short sessions a week instead of killing myself 5 times. progress is slow but i’m less exhausted. maybe u need rest not more grind. hope that helps sm

Quote from Diane1990 on June 19, 2022, 3:20 pmdont miss it. Omg, i am 46 and my husband and i have been together 20 years. we stopped doing all that fake excitement years ago. now we just chill. watch tv, eat good food, talk about bills. it is peaceful. the honeymoon phase is exhausting. you spend all your energy trying to impress someone. i rather be comfortable and know he is not going anywhere. save your energy for yourself.

Quote from wisehillside1976 on August 11, 2022, 10:06 amhaan gym mehnat hai. Ngl, I go 4 days a week. Lift heavy things, run on treadmill for 20 mins. No fancy classes. Just me and the machine. Sometimes body hurts next day but I keep going. It is not fun always. But I feel strong after. My husband says too much exercise. I say no, need to stay healthy for kids. Simple routine works for me.

Quote from Fitlife1995 on December 31, 2022, 3:09 amhonestly i just ignore the suck. ive been lifting alone for two years now since the divorce. some days i barely survive the set but i show up anyway. my knees hurt and i feel like a grandma but seeing the weight go up keeps me sane. its not about being strong its about doing it when you dont want to. thats the only win that matters right now.

Quote from Brassestuary on June 12, 2022, 11:21 amYeah it’s the divorce fatigue. I’m 46 and honestly just wrecked. Spent all day sorting through mail and thinking about alimony payments instead of actually living. My knees hurt from walking the dog and my brain feels foggy all day. Just drank iced coffee but still feel heavy. Not sure if it’s grief or just old age kicking in early.
