do you ever feel like you are aging in fast forward??
Quote from Coralwing on January 13, 2021, 1:41 pmugh seriously my husband did the exact same thing last week after we moved to germany. i told him to take a hike because his mum lives three time zones away and i am not her. i cook what i want what happens and if he doesnt like it he can figure it out himself. honestly the constant moving makes me too tired to stress over replicating some random meal his brain is fixated on anyway. just keep doing you.

Quote from isabella1969 on September 9, 2021, 8:20 pmoh man that sounds awful. i get terrible plantar fasciitis every winter. honestly just rolling a frozen water bottle under my arch for like 10 mins in the morning helps so much. also wear compression socks all day long. i used to ignore it till i couldn't walk straight too. just keep resting your feet when you can. hope you feel better soon

Quote from Clothlough on February 20, 2021, 3:31 amhaleya same thing happens to me every night. i wake up at 3am then stare at ceiling for an hour. usually i just check phone until i fall asleep again. its exhausting but honestly my brain wont shut off. coffee helps during day but useless at night. try drinking less water before bed maybe? not sure if it helps but worth a shot. good luck

Quote from harpbailey on September 8, 2021, 3:42 amHoney pull up a chair and listen close. I packed my good china and moved to the guest room. He can have his space. I used that time to read my bible and drink iced tea on the porch. If he wants me back he better come ask for it with a clean heart. I ain't waiting around all night anymore.

Quote from Countryroad1978 on March 22, 2021, 7:32 pmomg girl same. I literally throw his clothes in the wash the second he takes them off. If they stay in the hamper for more than a few hours, forget it. The smell is unreal. I even wash his workout gear separately with extra detergent because regular stuff doesnt cut it. My bf thinks Im crazy but hey, nobody wants to date a human stench bag. Just keep that washer running, mija.

Quote from Ashley1999 on February 16, 2021, 10:38 pmHonestly same. I stopped trying to force the whole sanctuary vibe and just do five mins of stretching while my niece naps nearby. No chanting, no candles, just breathing. If I miss a day, I don't guilt trip myself. Sometimes spirituality is just showing up tired and dealing with it. Keep it simple sis, your soul gets it.

Quote from Alice1999 on January 7, 2022, 7:46 amI just say no and stop explaining myself. Lol, My body, my rules. If he cant handle that we done. I used to feel bad but now I see it as lazy communication on my part. You dont owe anyone access to yourself. Just be clear and consistent. If guilt creeps in remind yourself that you are allowed to rest too.

Quote from Brenda1993 on November 3, 2022, 2:34 amI literally just slide the dishes into the dishwasher over his shoulder while he’s still in the shower. He knows if he leaves them for more than ten minutes they disappear, so he cleans them as he goes now. I tried talking about it for a year and nothing changed until I just handled it myself and stopped asking since then it’s been smooth sailing. Hope that helps keep some sanity.

Quote from Nancy1978 on March 23, 2022, 7:49 amI just go to the shed and sit for ten minutes. Doesn’t matter if it’s hot or cold, I need that silence. My husband stops by to yell at me about chores sometimes but I just ignore him till he leaves. Tells him if he wants peace, he needs to mind his own business. We’re in a small house so boundaries are tough but I don’t let him make me feel crazy for needing a break.
