Dealing with a negative friend?
Quote from Crimsonmeadow on January 27, 2025, 1:11 amyeah mostly. i canceled mine after two months. the 10 minute guided sessions are fine but paying $15/mo for the same info you get on youtube for free is rough. now i just stare at a wall or listen to rain sounds. saves money, same stress relief. if you really need structure, buy a book once. cheaper in the long run.

Quote from TwinklesoIL on May 13, 2026, 8:20 pmYeah honestly. Hubby snores so loud i just give up after a while. We make out sometimes but that is about it. I think at our age it just is not the main event anymore. We hold hands and watch tv which is nice enough. Dont stress about it. My body just aches too much for anything wild.

Quote from Bold1978 on October 15, 2025, 5:31 amnever had time to be stressed after first kid too. 3 kids is just chaos but you get used to it. I just keep a big whiteboard in kitchen for daily tasks and let husband handle bedtime sometimes. my brain feels full all the time but honestly its better than before. just survive each day. dont worry about being perfect.

Quote from Truespirit1988 on June 14, 2025, 4:46 amhonestly i just skip the glute activation bs. feels like a waste of time. i hit my legs hard on squat day and thats it. if they activate during the lift perfect otherwise who cares. save ur energy for the actual weights. plus my gym gets super crowded so standing around doing band walks is annoying. just lift heavy and move on with your life.

Quote from Bookworm1993 on October 12, 2025, 8:05 pmi totally get it. Omg, some days feel like weeks. i just go to the gym three times a week and try to nap when the kids come over. helps a bit. my knees hurt bad when the rain comes but i keep moving. its just life i guess. hope u r ok too.

Quote from Warm1974 on April 25, 2026, 4:08 pmhonestly I just ignore it. I lift heavy and focus on my form so whatever he thinks of my accent doesnt matter. He’s probably intimidated since I’m deadlifting more than him. If he says something directly rude I’ll tell him to keep it to himself but usually they just shut up when they see you’re not messing around.

Quote from Creekriver on August 19, 2025, 6:52 amYeah it’s the divorce fatigue. I’m 46 and honestly just wrecked. Spent all day sorting through mail and thinking about alimony payments instead of actually living. My knees hurt from walking the dog and my brain feels foggy all day. Just drank iced coffee but still feel heavy. Not sure if it’s grief or just old age kicking in early.
