Ugh, dating. I went out Friday, met a guy from that app, you know the one. He was late, like 20 mins. We went to that new Italian place downtown, the one with the fancy pasta. He spent the whole time talking about his crypto. Didn't ask me anything. Then he made a big deal about the bill, like it was 80 dollars. I just wanted to go home and watch that reality show. Is it always like this? Am I doing something wrong?

@Kimberly783 Ugh, being late is the worst. I've had that happen too, makes you feel like they don't really care. Hope the pasta was good at least.

Honestly, the whole app thing is what gets me. It feels like such a chore to swipe and then still end up with someone who is rude. I just want to watch my shows.

I know exactly what you mean about the app. I downloaded one last week and already feel like I'm over it. I just want to read my book in peace.

Yeah, the lateness is a big red flag for me. It's just disrespectful. Did he at least apologize properly?

@Kimberly783 Oh no, late AND rude? That's a double whammy. Makes you wonder if they even bothered to read your profile. So frustrating when you're trying to have a nice time.

@Kimberly783 I feel you on the app exhaustion. It's like a second job sometimes. All that effort just to find out they chew with their mouth open. Pass.

@Kimberly783 Seriously, the apps. I tried one and immediately felt like I was back in high school trying to pick out the least awkward person. My couch and a good book sounds way better.

@Kimberly783 Lateness is a dealbreaker for me too. It shows a lack of consideration. Did he even offer a decent excuse or just shrug it off? Ugh.

@Kimberly783 Ugh, the app exhaustion is SO real. I'm with you. My current hobby is binge-watching baking shows, much more rewarding.
