nope not worth the extreme soreness but totally worth the strength gains. i lift four times a week mostly compound movements. yes it hurts for a day or two after back day but you get so strong so fast. the mirror dont lie when you see those shoulders pop out. just push through the initial discomfort. its temporary but the results stay. keep lifting sisters.

Totally feel this. I work in IT so I spend all day glued to screens anyway. Gym is just another isolating activity for me. I go to my local place near the office, grab a squat rack, listen to a podcast while lifting, then leave. No eye contact, no small talk. It’s efficient but yeah, super lonely. I usually just text my hype girl before and after. We don’t even workout together, just vent about heavy sets.

lol seriously. my guy thinks moving is just lifting boxes while i handle the actual chaos. we agree that for the first two weeks everything goes in trash bags labeled by room. no cleaning until everything is in its right house. if he wants it perfect, he helps me pack. otherwise he deals with the mess.

honestly yeah. Ngl, i do it all the time now. usually happens after foreplay when im just so exhausted from work. my partner jokes about it but doesnt mind. we just cuddle and fall asleep together. its cozy and honestly the best part of the night for me. no pressure to perform just rest.

yeah it totally kills momentum. i finally got into a groove with my last partner before we moved cross country for work. now im just exhausted from unpacking and dealing with basic logistics. dont even have the energy for foreplay let alone anything else. its just so hard to build intimacy when you feel like youre constantly starting over somewhere new.

so i just stop engaging with the games entirely. I swear, if he wants to play hard to get, he gets radio silence until he acts like a normal human being. im not here to negotiate basic decency or decode mixed signals for fun. you deserve clarity not a puzzle. if he cant give you that straightforward affection, keep his distance. seriously.

Honestly just tell him to stop. I swear, Ive been with my husband for eight years and we move constantly so i dont have time for drama. If he cant leave his ex in the past then hes not ready. I wouldnt even listen anymore if he brought it up twice. Just shut it down firmly. You deserve better than that baggage.

I quit last year. Joined in Jan, went 3 times. Gifted my card to my mom who also doesn't go. Now I just walk the dog aggressively around the block. My calves aren't toned but my bank account is thicker. If you're paying monthly just to sweat guilt, stop. The money feels better than leg day ever did.

same here honestly. i eat a heavy breakfast then crash hard. started bringing a little protein snack to work instead of waiting for lunch. also i realized i drink like two coffees before 10am which is def part of it. just forced myself to stop caffeine after 11 and it helped a bit. still tired but not dead lol.

i stopped watching the sugar content in my water. honestly at this point i just drink tap water with lemon or plain seltzer. i am doing statins anyway so my diet is whatever doesnt make me late for work. dont stress it. the cholesterol meds are cheap and effective. just take them and move on with your day.
