Quote from Duskwalk on January 7, 2026, 8:02 pmYeah honestly. Hubby snores so loud i just give up after a while. We make out sometimes but that is about it. I think at our age it just is not the main event anymore. We hold hands and watch tv which is nice enough. Dont stress about it. My body just aches too much for anything wild.

Quote from echodelta on March 11, 2025, 5:55 ami used to pay for one of those apps but stopped after a year. honestly the ads were more stressful than the calm sounds. now i just sit in my garden or listen to birds from the porch. doesnt cost a dime and feels just as peaceful. maybe we just need quiet time without the fancy tech telling us how to breathe.

Quote from oasis on June 14, 2026, 11:59 pmHonestly yeah i cancelled headspace last year. saved the money and just sit on my balcony with my phone in another room. 10 mins of staring at the void works just as well. apps are just a business model targeting anxious professionals. plus the constant notifications reminding you to meditate is ironic at best. keep it simple.

Quote from Mudmine on February 13, 2025, 5:08 amugh seriously my husband did the exact same thing last week after we moved to germany. i told him to take a hike because his mum lives three time zones away and i am not her. i cook what i want what happens and if he doesnt like it he can figure it out himself. honestly the constant moving makes me too tired to stress over replicating some random meal his brain is fixated on anyway. just keep doing you.

Quote from WiseraIN on February 24, 2026, 12:55 pmOye girl, that sounds exhausting tbh. If he keeps bringing up his ex, I’m just straight up telling him stop right there. It’s disrespectful to me and weird for him. I’d say either leave the ghost in the past or I’m leaving. Seriously, why are you stuck listening to his drama? He needs to get his act together or find someone else to play therapist. No jokes.

Quote from Amanda1968 on February 24, 2025, 1:58 pmI stopped trying to manifest shit like three posts ago. Now I just grind. We move every two years anyway so nothing stays static. I focus on survival, not vibes. Last month I wanted a promotion and got a DS TR instead lol. Manifestation feels like voodoo when you are grounded in reality. Just do the work and hope for the best.

Quote from WarmraIN on July 14, 2026, 4:26 amI just go. Half hour, straight to the treadmill, listen to a boring podcast, leave. No fancy routines, no intensity checks. If I skip, I feel sluggish and guilty all day. Going makes the rest of the week feel slightly less chaotic. Not doing it because Im squeezed often, but even 20 mins helps reset my brain. Work stays anyway, but the sweat helps.

Quote from Gentle1979 on September 27, 2025, 12:22 amim a teacher too so i totally get this. Omg, its not just you. i keep a big water bottle on my desk and force myself to drink from it all day. dehydration hits hard in the afternoon. i also try to eat a small snack with protein around 2pm like a handful of almonds or string cheese. it helps keep my energy from crashing so hard at the end of the day.

Quote from Helen1993 on August 23, 2026, 4:25 amit is 11 pm and the house is dead quiet. my husband fell asleep on the couch at 930 pm with the tv still on. i just did laundry for the fourth time this week because the kids spill juice everywhere. i went to target today for a $2 cereal box and spent $80 on stuff i do not need. now i am sitting here drinking rooibos tea but i cannot relax. the air feels heavy. why does my home feel so cold and empty when my whole family is literally in the other room? i tried lighting a candle from ulta but it did not help. i just feel so drained. is this normal or am i just crazy?
