I get it. My husband was pushing hard too. I stopped overthinking the performance part and just told him we need low pressure. We switched to just touching without expecting penetration. Took the edge off for both of us. Now we actually want to be closer. Don’t force it if your body says no. Communication works better than ghosting through it. Just be honest.

Honestly same. That humidity gets to me every single night. I stopped trying to fight it and just bought those gel cooling pads for the mattress. Works a little better than flipping sheets. Also keep a damp washcloth by the bed and rotate it in the freezer. Not glamorous but it helps me get maybe six hours. Good luck out there.

Honestly I just stopped caring about the scale. At 48 divorce was hard enough, didnt need to add body shaming to the plate. I gym to keep my joints happy and clear my head. If I skip a week, so be it. I walk my dog daily and lift light weights twice a week. Consistency over intensity for me now. Just doing what feels manageable keeps me from burning out.

Honestly he sounds typical desi husband type. Lol, After work he just sits on sofa with phone. I tell him behave like normal human being. Sometimes we just sit together drinking chai saying nothing and it is okay. But if silence means he ignores you completely that is red flag. Talk to him clearly about what you need. Don't guess his feelings.

i literally just stopped asking him to do anything. if i need something done i do it myself or hire a babysitter for an hour. my sanity is worth more than his participation. dont wait around for him to step up he wont. lower your expectations to zero and stop explaining what you need. it just saves everyone the drama.

ugh right. i used to try deep breathing but it just made me more anxious. now i just zone out with loud action movies or listen to true crime podcasts. keeps my brain busy so i dont overthink. also ice baths help when my muscles feel tight from stress. honestly just numbing the noise out works better than trying to calm down. its exhausting being on high alert all the time.

Mira, same here. The gym is a scam for me. I hate the smell, the mirrors, whatever. I just walk. Like, I put on my shoes and walk for 30 minutes while listening to podcasts. No sweating, no judgment. My neighbors think I’m crazy but at least I’m moving, si? Consistency? Please. I do what I can when I can. Some days it’s trash, others I walk more. It’s not perfect but it works for me.

haha same energy. my hips are basically jelly right now after that hot yoga sesh. i just lie on the couch in a fetal position and scroll reddit until the ache goes away. zero zen achieved today. just pure regret and ibuprofen. honestly if anyone tries to talk mindfulness to me rn im gonna scream. send snacks not solutions.

Honey, mine is dead too. My husband snores like a chainsaw so we just sleep. Honestly, I find more joy being alone with a glass of wine or reading a book. It's just life at this stage. Don't beat yourself up about it. We're grandmas now, not models. Enjoy the peace and quiet.

it is 11 pm and the house is dead quiet. my husband fell asleep on the couch at 930 pm with the tv still on. i just did laundry for the fourth time this week because the kids spill juice everywhere. i went to target today for a $2 cereal box and spent $80 on stuff i do not need. now i am sitting here drinking rooibos tea but i cannot relax. the air feels heavy. why does my home feel so cold and empty when my whole family is literally in the other room? i tried lighting a candle from ulta but it did not help. i just feel so drained. is this normal or am i just crazy?
