Quote from teatime1993 on November 18, 2024, 8:14 amomg sis same energy. Ngl, we’re pacific so family always over but my husband is a stink bomb. i literally just pull the blankets over his head and bury him in the bed. if he wakes up squished he’ll wash his face at least. husband smells like fish and sweat but i’m too tired to fight. just use strong perfume and ignore it lol.

Quote from Fitlife1969 on July 9, 2024, 6:00 pmwe moved 3 times last year. For real, my husband thinks moving boxes is mans work but folding shirts is mine. i let the living room pile up. he complained once then carried the trash to curb himself. dont cook fancy food on day 1. order pizza. if house isnt perfect but kids are fed and beds are made thats win in my book. survival mode is real for immigrant moms.

Quote from Duskdust on March 12, 2024, 3:32 amhonestly just changed his routine completely. For real, told him if he wants to keep seeing me he needs to shower right after the gym not wait till he gets home. also switch to a stronger deodorant and change underwear twice a day if sweating. i dont care how tired he is nobody wants to smell that. simple fix really.

Quote from dogmom1989 on September 6, 2024, 8:25 pmMan that is rough. Honestly we do a chore chart every Sunday night. Pretty much treats it like work shifts. He got the evening shift until 8 then I take over. It ain't always perfect but it helps split the mental load. If he ghosts his shift we talk about it the next day no yelling just facts. You gotta set boundaries early or it never changes.

Quote from Kimberly1967 on September 6, 2024, 8:25 pmI honestly just walk on the treadmill and read audiobooks. If I try to lift weights with the bros I look like an idiot anyway so I just dodge them. Also the laundry situation is a nightmare so I bring extra clothes. I hate the smell of the place but at least I can zone out and not talk to anyone which is probably why I do it.

Quote from freetide on October 20, 2024, 3:41 amit is 11 pm and the house is dead quiet. my husband fell asleep on the couch at 930 pm with the tv still on. i just did laundry for the fourth time this week because the kids spill juice everywhere. i went to target today for a $2 cereal box and spent $80 on stuff i do not need. now i am sitting here drinking rooibos tea but i cannot relax. the air feels heavy. why does my home feel so cold and empty when my whole family is literally in the other room? i tried lighting a candle from ulta but it did not help. i just feel so drained. is this normal or am i just crazy?

Quote from Amanda1987 on November 7, 2024, 11:37 amHonestly I feel u. I drink un café cortado first thing then hit the gym at 6am even if I hate it. My hermana says its dehydration so I force myself to drink 3 liters of water. Not gonna lie sometimes I just nap 20 mins after lunch. Life is busy and we cant just push through without resting or eating bien. Try swapping soda for agua jamas.

Quote from bravedusk on October 10, 2024, 1:52 pmI quit last year. I swear, Joined in Jan, went 3 times. Gifted my card to my mom who also doesn't go. Now I just walk the dog aggressively around the block. My calves aren't toned but my bank account is thicker. If you're paying monthly just to sweat guilt, stop. The money feels better than leg day ever did.
