my knees are wrecked too especially after long services. Ngl, i usually ice them right after and take a couple ibuprofen. being an athlete doesnt protect me from aging joints lol. seriously though just rest them and don't push it the next day. i learned that the hard way.

fr that is wild. Tbh, like say it louder for the people in the back. i just tell him exactly what i want and how i want it. no games. if he doesnt like it hes not trying hard enough. my guy knows his place and knows how to please me because i made it clear years ago. keep that energy. dont let him gaslight you into thinking ur needs are too much.

Honestly not weird at all. We moved three times in two years so our bedroom setups have been half packed in boxes for months. Husband thinks I’m rejecting him, but I’m just exhausted. Most intimacy now is him falling asleep on the couch while I fold laundry. If I’m lucky we try for 10 minutes but usually it’s a nope from me. Just survive, don’t expect much until the kids actually leave the house.

Yeah it’s annoying but not a dealbreaker unless it’s like a vacuum cleaner. Ngl, I had to train my partner because the snoring was killing me too. Tried mouth tape first but he hated it. Now he just sleeps on his side with a humidifier running. If it drives you crazy give him one of those strips before breaking up. Otherwise just get earplugs and stop looking at his face at 3am.

Same here honestly. After 2 kids, my energy is basically zero after work. I dont even think about it most days. We just sleep next to each other and thats it. Sometimes we try but im too tired so i say no. It has been like this for years now. I guess it is normal for us moms. My husband understands mostly but sometimes gets quiet about it.

Sachi kaho, I had a guy like that too. He said sweet things but never showed up. I waited once, twice, then just left. Actions are truth, words are just air. If he wanted to be with you, he would make space, not excuses. Don t waste your time waiting for him to change. Pack your bags mentally and see what you want for yourself. Trust your gut, sister.

my husband used to say the same thing back in our twenties. i just stopped asking him what he wanted for dinner and started making whatever i felt like eating. he either eats it or he makes his own. honestly it’s been way less stressful since i stopped trying to recreate my mom’s exact recipes. my food is just mine now.

yeah it is. i limit how many things i say yes to now. last week i just told a parent i cant help with their child after hours. felt so weird saying no but did it anyway. im done carrying everyone else emotional baggage while grading papers. just doing the bare minimum for anyone who isnt my immediate family these days.

Honey pull up a chair and listen close. I packed my good china and moved to the guest room. He can have his space. I used that time to read my bible and drink iced tea on the porch. If he wants me back he better come ask for it with a clean heart. I ain't waiting around all night anymore.

stress drains the spirit first then the body feels it. i get that emptiness often. lately i just sit outside for 10 mins every morning no phone just watching birds or leaves move. helps reset my nervous system. also drinking more water and walking without headphones. sometimes we overthink when we just need to move or breathe. try stepping away from screens for an hour.
