cant stop yawning even after 9 hrs of sleep ???
Quote from Fogdeparture on February 18, 2023, 10:53 pmHonestly yeah i cancelled headspace last year. saved the money and just sit on my balcony with my phone in another room. 10 mins of staring at the void works just as well. apps are just a business model targeting anxious professionals. plus the constant notifications reminding you to meditate is ironic at best. keep it simple.

Quote from fordbrake on March 21, 2023, 5:19 pmMy husband used to think that was plenty till I started scheduling other things. Honestly, Now we do it twice a week or he gets left out. Not trying to be mean but if you dont prioritize it he will assume its low priority to you too. Communication is key, even if it feels awkward at first. Just set the expectation early.

Quote from Heather1978 on February 11, 2023, 8:45 pmi drink a cup of nettle tea before bed and keep my room pitch black. also stop scrolling right before sleep, the blue light messes with your rest. i noticed once i stopped eating heavy meals late at night, i wake up way more refreshed. try drinking a big glass of water first thing in the morning too, dehydration hides as fatigue sometimes.

Quote from sara1982 on July 29, 2023, 3:48 pmHonestly yes I do it twice a week even at my age. Honestly, Yes it hurts the next day but the strength is worth it. I just lifted light dumbbells and did some squats yesterday. Felt like jelly today but I can still carry my groceries and play with my grandkids without my back killing me. Just stretch well and drink plenty of water. It keeps me independent and strong.

Quote from Betty1983 on February 26, 2023, 5:54 amsame here. just got back from my third move in two years so i know the drill. honestly i just load everything into labeled bins and dont overthink it. my husband handles the heavy lifting while i manage the chaos of keeping the kids calm in the car. it sucks but we do what we gotta do. counting down the days until we actually unpack everything for real.

Quote from stephanie1974 on February 12, 2023, 1:15 amOh honey same here lol. I tried my first yoga retreat last year and spent half the class waddling around. I just sit on a folded towel now and let it all go. No fancy props needed. My knees click like a geiger counter but at least I get some quiet time to drink tea. Keep going dear.

Quote from Jacqueline1989 on August 10, 2024, 9:10 pmI just started sleeping on the couch. Honestly it was easier than lying there staring at the ceiling feeling rejected. He sleeps better now too but we barely speak. I spend my time with my horses and friends. You gotta take care of yourself first. If he won't put in the work then stop waiting for him to change. It saves a lot of drama.

Quote from Fieldwithdrawal on March 26, 2024, 5:04 pmit is 11 pm and the house is dead quiet. my husband fell asleep on the couch at 930 pm with the tv still on. i just did laundry for the fourth time this week because the kids spill juice everywhere. i went to target today for a $2 cereal box and spent $80 on stuff i do not need. now i am sitting here drinking rooibos tea but i cannot relax. the air feels heavy. why does my home feel so cold and empty when my whole family is literally in the other room? i tried lighting a candle from ulta but it did not help. i just feel so drained. is this normal or am i just crazy?

Quote from Jenny1992 on May 22, 2024, 1:13 amhonestly same. lately i just do the bare minimum. light one candle, sit outside for 10 mins, breathe. thats it. no crystals no journals no rituals. my ancestors didn’t need apps to find peace. i’m tired too so i’m resting not performing spirituality. let it rest.
