Quote from Sunnybeam on August 6, 2020, 1:31 pmhaha same energy. my hips are basically jelly right now after that hot yoga sesh. i just lie on the couch in a fetal position and scroll reddit until the ache goes away. zero zen achieved today. just pure regret and ibuprofen. honestly if anyone tries to talk mindfulness to me rn im gonna scream. send snacks not solutions.

Quote from Citygirl1984 on October 20, 2021, 3:52 amI moved my shower time to early morning. By the time he’s done his long ritual I’ve already finished mine and started getting ready for the day. It stopped the waiting game completely. I just had to accept that’s how he takes care of himself and adjust my schedule around it. Works for now since we both get what we need without the passive aggression over the bathroom.

Quote from Honeydew1992 on July 29, 2021, 1:58 amit is 11 pm and the house is dead quiet. my husband fell asleep on the couch at 930 pm with the tv still on. i just did laundry for the fourth time this week because the kids spill juice everywhere. i went to target today for a $2 cereal box and spent $80 on stuff i do not need. now i am sitting here drinking rooibos tea but i cannot relax. the air feels heavy. why does my home feel so cold and empty when my whole family is literally in the other room? i tried lighting a candle from ulta but it did not help. i just feel so drained. is this normal or am i just crazy?

Quote from Braveredoubt on April 24, 2021, 1:36 pmLook I stopped trying to be spiritual all the time. It felt like work. Now I just drink water and walk outside. If I need to reset I sit quietly for five mins. No chanting no crystals. Just breathing. My peace comes from boundaries not rituals. Keep it simple. Rest when tired. Ignore the pressure to be enlightened. You dont owe anyone your energy.

Quote from Kind1985 on June 23, 2021, 1:11 pmI literally just told my man to take over every other weekend. Honestly, No negotiation. If he wants to be a dad, he steps up. I used to do everything too until I got so tired I just stopped caring. Now he handles bedtime and laundry on his days. It’s not fair but it’s necessary for my sanity. Just set the boundary baby.

Quote from Hannah1988 on September 1, 2021, 12:21 amArre listen, coding means sitting like statue. That is why gas stuck. I also face same problem when I work on laptop for hours. First thing, drink hot water with lemon every morning. And eat more salad, no plain rice only. Walk for 10 mins every 2 hours. My husband also suffer from this. He started doing yoga stretch in evening. It helps very much. Try it.

Quote from Jennifer2001 on April 19, 2021, 2:01 amhonestly yeah its normal. my husband does this all the time. he just needs space to recharge without talking. i figured it out early so now i just let him be. go do my own thing while he sits in his cave. once he comes out he talks again. dont take it personal. its just how he processes stuff. works for us.

Quote from Calmwaters1994 on September 6, 2021, 10:29 amI walked away from the gym too. Omg, Water retention and cortisol are real messes. I started doing yoga in my living room instead. No mirrors, no scales, just moving. It took months to feel normal again. Your body is stressed, not broken. Give it peace, not punishment. Focus on how you sleep and eat. The weight will sort itself out when you stop fighting it.
