Bedtime routines
Quote from Goldvictory on November 17, 2023, 12:57 pmMira, same here. The gym is a scam for me. I hate the smell, the mirrors, whatever. I just walk. Like, I put on my shoes and walk for 30 minutes while listening to podcasts. No sweating, no judgment. My neighbors think I’m crazy but at least I’m moving, si? Consistency? Please. I do what I can when I can. Some days it’s trash, others I walk more. It’s not perfect but it works for me.

Quote from stargazer1992 on May 21, 2024, 5:18 pmnah its not weird at all. i just broke up too and weirdly i miss cooking dinner and doing laundry more than seeing his face. being busy keeps me sane so now im just lost in the quiet. i spend my days running and lifting to get the stress out. it sucks but at least i have control over my routine now. its weird how much you take for granted until its gone.

Quote from Laura1984 on April 29, 2024, 9:23 amI literally just slide the dishes into the dishwasher over his shoulder while he’s still in the shower. He knows if he leaves them for more than ten minutes they disappear, so he cleans them as he goes now. I tried talking about it for a year and nothing changed until I just handled it myself and stopped asking since then it’s been smooth sailing. Hope that helps keep some sanity.

Quote from Sandra1991 on November 20, 2024, 7:55 ami get this too. For real, even when i sleep eight or nine hours, my jaw just drops. it’s annoying. i usually just push through it because it’s socially awkward to keep yawning. sometimes i drink an extra cup of coffee to feel awake but honestly it’s just a weird habit for me now. i don’t think i do anything specific to fix it. just ignore it.

Quote from Farmhouse1978 on July 12, 2024, 5:54 pmoh man yeah it’s super normal but also super annoying. i usually just use ice packs on my quads and drink like a gallon of water. took me a while to figure out i just needed better shoes bc my arches are trash. now i stretch before bed or i cant sleep at all. honestly just give it a day or two to rest unless it feels like an actual injury.

Quote from mauvebrook on June 2, 2024, 12:33 pmOmg I feel you. Honest truth, it’s not the fabric, it’s your dryer. I stopped putting that basket in the dryer long ago. That lint trap holds onto moisture and bacteria like crazy. Now I just leave mine out to air dry or throw in a tennis ball to circulate air. Also make sure you’re using enough detergent, gym clothes get super sweaty. Mira si te ayuda.

Quote from Diane1968 on June 2, 2024, 12:33 pmLord have mercy. I swear, We have been there too many times to count. I usually just call my mom at 5am if the fever spikes and she comes over. If she cant make it i call in sick. Boss knows better than to make me choose. Hey we all raise these little ones somehow. Praying it breaks by morning. Yall hang in there.
