Bases swapped, toddler swapped, my sanity, not so much
Quote from Fieldexhibit on February 13, 2025, 1:32 amgirl same. i thought it was just me. honestly tho its mostly hydration and protein. i drink like a gallon of water a day and eat a little something with protein right after i finish. before i was skipping the post workout snack and then i felt like death. try drinking more water chica. seriously. and don't starve yourself right after lifting. that’s my only fix.

Quote from Jennifer1967 on November 15, 2025, 10:14 pmhonestly same. i just stop trying to initiate. if he wants sex we can do it but i am not providing the aftercare anymore. he has to learn to be affectionate on his own or not get lucky. i am too exhausted to play therapist. just let him sit with the awkward silence instead of fixing it for him. works for me.

Quote from Mauvepass on June 11, 2026, 6:11 amhonestly i stopped asking him to help. i just do what needs doing while he hangs out. if he complains about the mess i tell him to fix it himself or shut up. at this point his energy is not worth the fight. i save my mental peace for myself and my kids. let him live in the chaos he ignores. peace is more important than being right.

Quote from Pearlpresentation on June 11, 2025, 4:35 amit is 11 pm and the house is dead quiet. my husband fell asleep on the couch at 930 pm with the tv still on. i just did laundry for the fourth time this week because the kids spill juice everywhere. i went to target today for a $2 cereal box and spent $80 on stuff i do not need. now i am sitting here drinking rooibos tea but i cannot relax. the air feels heavy. why does my home feel so cold and empty when my whole family is literally in the other room? i tried lighting a candle from ulta but it did not help. i just feel so drained. is this normal or am i just crazy?

Quote from Glowrush on October 30, 2025, 7:34 pmI literally sprint into the locker room and close my eyes for 60 sec. For real, Heart rate spikes just thinking about people watching. My trick is noise cancelling headphones and ignoring everyone. Once i start moving the panic fades. Just zone out. dont look at mirrors. keep it simple. u got this but yeah the walk in is the hardest part.

Quote from CoralGarden on July 6, 2025, 10:11 amSame here basically. Just moved for my husbands deployment this month. Doc says labs are perfect but i am dragging all day. I ended up checking my iron and vits too. Low iron was part of it. Also just standard military life burnout. Try adding straight iron supplements if you havent. Helps a bit at least until we settle in new base housing. Good luck

Quote from Sweetdawn1979 on September 15, 2025, 11:10 pmhonestly the empty feeling hits different when ur burnt out. Omg, i just stop overthinking it n cry until i feel numb then sleep. stress literally drains u dry so u feel hollow. i dont try to fix it, just let it wash over me. u not alone in feeling this way. take it easy on urself girl.
