back pain after lifting kids is killing me
Quote from DuskWish on April 6, 2026, 3:57 pmI hit sixty two and my knees r still grinding but i keep moving. I do chair yoga every morning just five mins to loosen up. Then I bake cookies cause the smell makes me feel good. Don’t stress the aches too much honey we all get here eventually. Just find ur comfort routines and stick with them.

Quote from Hopeinn on January 7, 2025, 2:12 pmsame thing happen to me fr. i just started doing light stretching at home instead of going to the gym. less pressure and i dont have to deal w people staring. also try listening to loud music while u move it helps drown out the noise in my head. dont be too hard on urself. its a journey for real.

Quote from True1968 on March 8, 2026, 8:56 amsame here honestly. Honestly, i eat a heavy breakfast then crash hard. started bringing a little protein snack to work instead of waiting for lunch. also i realized i drink like two coffees before 10am which is def part of it. just forced myself to stop caffeine after 11 and it helped a bit. still tired but not dead lol.

Quote from Moonbeam1967 on June 2, 2025, 3:45 pmhaan gym mehnat hai. I go 4 days a week. Lift heavy things, run on treadmill for 20 mins. No fancy classes. Just me and the machine. Sometimes body hurts next day but I keep going. It is not fun always. But I feel strong after. My husband says too much exercise. I say no, need to stay healthy for kids. Simple routine works for me.

Quote from Firefly on November 15, 2025, 10:14 pmit is 11 pm and the house is dead quiet. my husband fell asleep on the couch at 930 pm with the tv still on. i just did laundry for the fourth time this week because the kids spill juice everywhere. i went to target today for a $2 cereal box and spent $80 on stuff i do not need. now i am sitting here drinking rooibos tea but i cannot relax. the air feels heavy. why does my home feel so cold and empty when my whole family is literally in the other room? i tried lighting a candle from ulta but it did not help. i just feel so drained. is this normal or am i just crazy?

Quote from Patricia1994 on July 24, 2025, 3:20 pmSame. I feel like I’m running on fumes mostly. I’ve started drinking way more water and forcing myself to put my phone away an hour before bed. It helps a bit but honestly I think it’s just burnout from work and life in general. I’m not even that old yet but I definitely feel it in my bones lol.

Quote from Mountainrose1996 on March 31, 2026, 11:37 pmsame here. the humidity is brutal rn. i literally just put ice packs on my wrists and neck for like ten min before bed. also run the shower really cold until the pipes get freezing then turn it off and climb in. it actually helps me stay asleep longer since my body temp drops. good luck staying awake lol. going to try the fan trick again tonight.

Quote from kimberly1972 on January 17, 2026, 10:39 pmArre, ye kya baat hai. My husband also sleeps with mouth hanging open, looks scary actually. I tried taping his mouth once with medical tape, he woke up confused next morning. Now I just give up after two years. It is annoying but not dealbreaker for us. Sahi hai, we make do. If you cant handle it, try nasal strips maybe?

Quote from wildflower1986 on January 7, 2025, 4:04 amHonestly just tell him to stop. Ive been with my husband for eight years and we move constantly so i dont have time for drama. If he cant leave his ex in the past then hes not ready. I wouldnt even listen anymore if he brought it up twice. Just shut it down firmly. You deserve better than that baggage.

Quote from olivia1966 on July 12, 2026, 8:33 pmi feel that. moving every few years makes it hard to stick with a routine or find good spots. ive been lifting heavy and just focusing on strength instead of the scale number. the scale goes up bc muscle weighs more but i look leaner and feel stronger. honestly ignoring the number is the only thing that helps me not hate the gym. just keep showing up.
