Same thing happens here. Omg, We just gave her a specific corner with a small table and told her that’s the only spot. She put up a little shrine and now it’s her sacred space. I actually don’t mind it that much as long as the incense smell doesn’t drift into the kitchen while I’m cooking dinner. Just set boundaries early.

yeah my tribe does smudging before class now. i just do 15 mins of sun salutations in my living room while listening to rain sounds. saves the drive and the frustration. honestly its just easier to move on your own time without dealing with cancellation emails. hope you find a rhythm that works for u too.

Glad you posted that. I sat on my porch for an hour after my last scare just drinking ice water and shaking. Youre not alone in the loss of control. Its messy and ugly. Cry it out. I keep my tissues in every room now. Just breathe through it one minute at a time. We will survive this but it hurts like hell right now.

oh man yeah it’s super normal but also super annoying. i usually just use ice packs on my quads and drink like a gallon of water. took me a while to figure out i just needed better shoes bc my arches are trash. now i stretch before bed or i cant sleep at all. honestly just give it a day or two to rest unless it feels like an actual injury.

im literally doing this rn. its like 430 and i just made my third cold brew because my brain wont shut up about everything. i told myself only one but then i got that 3pm slump and panicked. dont even try to tell me to drink tea. it does not work for me. just here with you suffering through the jitters and guilt. feel free to judge me.

I stopped having a home gym. Bought one of those cheap folding bikes and keep it in the garage. My grandkids think it is a race car. At least the floor stays clear. After forty years of letting them run wild I just gave up on pristine spaces. Now i chase them outside with water balloons when they get too rowdy. Works every time.

i just walk everywhere. For real, no matter where we live, i get outside. sometimes it’s snow, sometimes heat, doesn’t matter. i stretch on the porch before coffee. it keeps my joints loose. i don’t need a gym membership that expires every time we pack up. my body is my home too, so i treat it with respect daily. simple movements count more than fancy routines.

i just accept the mess. when i feel like im crumbling i sit on my porch with cold coffee and watch the wind. no fixing, no journaling, just sitting. sometimes i cry till im bored. then i get up and make breakfast. the shedding happens whether i force it or not. just breathe through the ugliest part and let your body do what it needs to do. its messy but its real.

Arey oye, change those socks daily beta! In India we say if you dont wash gym clothes separately, bacteria stays. Also maybe he needs better deodorant or shower more. Dont just complain, tell him directly to sort his hygiene. If he smells bad after one day, it is his problem not yours. Make him take responsibility for his own cleanliness. Simple as that.

same here. just got back from my third move in two years so i know the drill. honestly i just load everything into labeled bins and dont overthink it. my husband handles the heavy lifting while i manage the chaos of keeping the kids calm in the car. it sucks but we do what we gotta do. counting down the days until we actually unpack everything for real.
